Gujarat Law Society (GLS) is a premier educational group, offering courses in multiple disciplines. It stands as a synonym for contemporary education in the region with its state-of-the-art infrastructure which houses nearly 29 institutes in various spheres. There are over 24,000 students who are assisted in meticulously crafting their careers and leading them to the path of success. The society has a particularly expansive alumni group too which echoes the values that GLS has imparted, right since its inception. Being a part of some of the most distinguished corporations, across the globe, these members of the society’s alumni have carved out a niche identity for themselves, that of being responsible, pragmatic and proactive.

GLS’ trust with superlative education began in 1927; almost 90 years back when a few visionaries stepped forward to transform the standards of education in the region. The institute derived its inspiration from and was founded by such luminaries as Shri Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Sheth Shri Kasturbhai Lalbhai and Shri Ganesh Mavlankar. It was their foresight in the year 1927 that laid the foundation for an organization which has illuminated lacs of lives ever since.

It is the dynamism, sagacity and pragmatic approach of the management of GLS that guided the society on its path to glory. Constant support by the governing council currently spearheaded by Shri Sudhir Indravadan Nanavati that has led GLS to grow from a single law college to nearly 29 institutions ranging from preparatory schools to graduate and post-graduate colleges in diverse areas such as arts, commerce, law, management, computer applications and professional courses.

Candidates must have passed the class 12 examinations with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized board.

GLS University Scholarships

•GLS University offers various financial assistance to students based on merit, financial conditions of family, and Socioeconomically backward classes.
•GLS University is offering a scholarship to the deserving and underprivileged sections of society, especially the Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, and Socio-economically backward class students.
• The university has also progressed Merit-Cum-Means policy for bright and meritorious students.
•GLS University offers scholarships to physically challenged students on a case-to-case basis.
•The overall policy is to provide reservations in admission and assist financially needy students.

Campus
The academic and physical infrastructure at the campus provides an inspirational environment, inspiring intellectual minds and creativity. The student-friendly ambience is accentuated by the vast pool of amenities and facilities on a sprawling 32000 sqmt of campus in prime location withstate-of-the-art infrastructure.

Computer Labs
The institute has high-technology supported labs which are equipped with more than 1000 computers. All computers are connected to a Local Area Network which also connects the faculties for sharing and communicating information to students. Apart from this, the students and faculties can have access to 5.5 MBPS broadband internet connection and WIFI facility. GLS has recently acquired Microsoft Academic & PLATINUM Partner status which is among one of the few Institutes in Gujarat.

Sports Facility
The campus comprises of 10,000 sq. yards sports ground wherein facilities for various sports like Cricket, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, etc. are availed to the students. GLS promotes the students representing at National and International Levels by contributing for the transport expenses incurred. Specific coaches are also provided for various sports played.

Auditorium
The campus hosts a centralized air conditioned, multipurpose auditorium with a seating capacity of 275 with a modular stage and a green room. The auditorium is adequately equipped with latest technology equipment with uninterrupted power supply, sound systems, video facility and LCD projectors.
Library Resource Center

The Library functions as the primary information resource and repository for all teaching and research activities at the institute. Apart from textbooks and recommended reading material prescribed for each course offered at the institute, the library houses a growing collection of over 10 lacs plus books on research reports, reference works, encyclopedias, handbooks, and so on. The libraries at the Campus boasts of several international and national journals, magazines & periodicals.This keeps the students abreast about the Indian & Global corporate environment, which nurtures and enhances their knowledge.

Classrooms
The classrooms at GLS are designed to endorse interactive learning involving the students and the faculty. Most of them are air-conditioned and operational with multimedia and audio-visual equipment that facilitate effective teaching and learning.
