Admission Procedure

Admission to Gurunanak College of Pharmacy (GNCP), Nagpur is primarily based on state-level entrance exams and the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Maharashtra State CET Cell.

Admission Criteria:

D.Pharm - 2 Years Course

Admission Process

• Apply through the Maharashtra State CET Cell admission process (CAP), if applicable.
• Submit the application form and required documents.
• Admission is based on merit and seat availability.

Eligibility

• • Passed 10+2 (HSC) with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Biology or Mathematics.
  • Must meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Maharashtra State CET Cell/PCI.

B.Pharm - 4 Years Course

Admission Process

• Appear for MHT CET.
• Register for the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Maharashtra State CET Cell.
• Fill in college preferences.
• If allotted GNCP, verify documents and pay the prescribed fees to confirm admission.

Eligibility

• Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.
• Qualified in MHT CET (or as per Maharashtra Government admission rules).

M.Pharm - 2 Years Course

Admission Process

• Qualify GPAT (preferred).
• Register through the Maharashtra admission portal.
• Participate in counselling/CAP.
• Complete document verification and fee payment after seat allotment.

Eligibility

• B.Pharm degree from a PCI/AICTE-approved institution.
• Minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by the admission authority (typically 55% for General and relaxation for reserved categories).
• GPAT-qualified candidates are generally given preference.

Government of India Post Matric Scholarship

This scholarship is available for eligible students belonging to Scheduled Caste categories. It provides tuition fee reimbursement and maintenance allowance as per Government of India and Maharashtra Government regulations.

Post Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Tribe Students

Students belonging to the Scheduled Tribe category can avail this scholarship to receive financial assistance towards tuition fees and educational expenses according to state government norms.

VJNT and SBC Scholarship

Students from Vimukta Jati, Nomadic Tribes, Special Backward Class, and Denotified Tribes are eligible for scholarships and fee concessions under the Maharashtra Government scholarship schemes.

OBC Scholarship

Eligible students belonging to the Other Backward Classes category can receive tuition fee reimbursement and financial assistance through the Maharashtra Government scholarship programme.

Economically Weaker Section Benefits

Students belonging to the Economically Weaker Section category may avail fee concessions and financial assistance as per the prevailing Maharashtra Government policies.

Tuition Fee and Examination Fee Reimbursement

Eligible students under various reserved categories can receive reimbursement of tuition and examination fees through the Maharashtra Government's Direct Benefit Transfer schemes.

Merit Based Scholarships

Academically outstanding students may become eligible for merit scholarships offered by government agencies or other funding organizations based on their academic performance and applicable guidelines.

National Scholarship Portal Schemes

Students can also apply for various Central Government scholarship programmes through the National Scholarship Portal, depending on their category, academic merit, family income, and eligibility criteria.

Gurunanak College of Pharmacy provides modern infrastructure and student friendly facilities to support academic and personal development. The campus includes well equipped pharmaceutical laboratories, smart classrooms, a central library with digital resources, computer laboratories, seminar and conference halls, research laboratories, and a recognized Ph.D. research centre.
