Haryana Engineering College, Jagadhri is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, and is recognized by AICTE and Govt. of Haryana. It was incepted with initial intake of 180 students but every year there has been a tremendous increase in number and now the mark has crossed more than ten times the initial figure.

Candidates must appear for the HSTES Haryana BTech Counselling based on their JEE Main scores. Haryana BTech Admission is done after the JEE Main results have been declared. Candidates must have a valid JEE Main score to seek Haryana BTech Admission 2023. BTech / BE is a four-year undergraduate engineering program.

Special Scholarship Programme:

• Special scholarship is awarded to the needy and deserving students on the basis of their performance in scholarship test.
• Every year a scholarship test is organized for B.Tech.1 and BBA 1 students in which up to 100% scholarship benefit is given upon tuition fees and deserving candidate may avail this benefit

SALIENT FEATURES OF SCHOLARSHIP TEST

1. Based upon the marks scored in scholarship test & 10+2 marks, candidate will get upon 100% scholarship in tuition fee.
2. B.Tech. Candidates who only qualify the test will get scholarship of Rs. 10,000 (both for boys and girls). In addition to this, girls’ student shall get additional waiver of Rs. 5,000 /- in tuition fee under ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ campaign of Hon’ble, Prime Minister of India.
3. BBA Candidates who only qualify the test will get scholarship of Rs. 5,000 (both for boys and girls). In addition to this, girls’ student shall get additional waiver of Rs. 2,500 /- under ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ campaign of Hon’ble, Prime Minister of India.
4. The scholarship is valid for students admitted in 1th year of B.Tech for academic year 2019-20. For scholarship rules in 2nd to 4th year of B.Tech. 2nd & 3rd year of BBA refer to college website www.hec.edu.in.

College has its own fleet of buses which provides transport facility from Ambala City, Ambala Cantt, Kurukshetra, Mustafabad, Shahabad, Barara, Poanta Sahib and Yamun Nagar, Bilaspur, Sadhaura, Naraingarh. College buses are proposed to run from Saharanpur(Uttar Pardesh),  Karnal and Panchkula also.
