HISTORY & DEVELOPMENT
Karnatak University Post Graduate Centre, Haveri was established in the year 2001 to fulfil the aspirations of rural and urban Students of Haveri district, Karnataka State. The P.G.Centre is located at Kerimattihalli, about 8 KM from Haveri and spread over an area of 42 acres. Six Post-Graduate departments namely Kannada, Social Work, Commerce, English, Sociology, Journalism and Mass communication are offered. Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) Pattern is adopted in all the P G Courses. Academic programmes and examinations are conducted on schedule and in time as per the Karnatak university guidelines. The P.G. Centre maintains a close liaison with the public and eminent local leaders of Haveri through various meaningful programmes including Induction, Interaction and Extension activities through NSS. True to its vision and mission, the P.G. Centre is committed to reach greater heights of excellence in the years to come.

Candidates must have appeared in CUET UG 2024 to apply at Dr BR Ambedkar University Delhi for admission to a UG course. Applicants must have passed class 12 with at least 50% from any recognised board. For reserved category students, 45% in class 12 board exam is mandatory.
During our internship program we took in Bangalore which was suggested by one of our faculty there we learned many practical things and the project we did on the 5Star Building Project they Cleared all the doubts and used to give clarification on each and every matter.
For Civil engineering students, we do not have a campus but the campus used to come for other branches like EC and Cs but teachers used to give us ideas for heading our future through this course. And the campus was for final year students of other branches. And the percentage of the students getting placed were around 6-7students per year. And my plans after getting a degree I took the related course for setting my resume great and now I am working in One of Construction Company in my Native.
The basic fee for the course is 75000 but you can get some of in fees if you are qualified so K-CET or the required entrance exam and also get in fees if you belong to OBC or SE/ST categories. There is a fee hike which will be decided by college management. There will be enough scholarships available and you have to apply in online to avail of scholarships. There will be campus selection for freshers from different companies but I didn't get a job but I got placed in a coaching center which will guide you to get placed.

RULES AND REGULATIONS:
ADMISSION TO THE LIBRARY:
A Person who is not a member of the library should not be admitted in to the Library. However non-members should be admitted only by special permit to be Issued from the Principal and Librarian. The decision of the Librarian or his deputy should be final. Membership / Identity card should be shown at the counter when requested and every member should enter his / her name and member ship number (Branch / Admin Number) in the register.
Silence should be strictly observed in the Library. Spitting and smoking are strictly prohibited. Misbehaving in the Library is strictly prohibited.
General rules:
I. Readers and Visitors are requested not to bring their belongings in the library.
II. Users are requested to learn the book / documents on the reading table after consultation.
III. Users are responsible for photocopying with copyright get while copying library documents.

V. Silence and strict discipline should be maintained in the library by a user and the library staff.
VI. Every one shall ensure that no reader should feel disturbed in their study by any get of his / her.
VII. Mobile phones and other loud electronic materials are strictly prohibited inside library premises.
VIII. The library rules and regulations shall be modified from time to time and shall be binding on all concerned.

1.An overdue charge of Rs. 1 per day shall be charged against each Book /Document not returned within the due date.
2.A Document (Book) Issued
3.may be renewed up to 2 times provided, there is no reservation against it.
4.A document may be recalled before the due date if required urgently in the Library. Failure to respond promptly may lead to suspension of library privileges
5.Member proceeding on long leave or discontinued etc., exceeding three months should return the documents that are borrowed.
6.Certain documents are intended to be used only in the library premises. These include return books, some text books etc.
7.Borrowers are requested to check if the documents being borrowed are complete and no pages are missing in it. In case of defect or damage in the book should be brought to the notice of the library staff.
8.Borrowers are responsible for the documents they borrow documents lost, torn or damaged (tearing of pages, Underlining, making notes damaging of binding and the like) shall attract serious action and replacement of document concern.
9.In special cases the library may authorize the issue of any document mentioned under the rule 6 above to a library member.
10.If a document is not returned within 15 days of its due date it shall be treated as lost and action shall be initiated to recover the cost of the document as per the rules.
11.Newly arrived documents shall be displayed documents on display shall be issued only after a specified period.
12.No documents shall be returned on the day of issue.
13.While learning the library user should ensure that they carry only those books that are duly issued on their names otherwise disciplinary action will be taken against them
