It was founded by Dr. Syed Khader under the aegis of the HKBK Education Society. Admission Procedure

HKBK Courses are offered at UG, PG, Doctorate level. There are 29 courses offered at HKBK. The courses are offered disciplines like Engineering, Medical, Management, Commerce. HKBK courses includes B.Tech, B.Sc, B.P.T, B.Com, BBA, MBA, BCA, BE. Popular courses at HKBK are B.Tech, B.Sc, B.P.T.

Admission Criteria

B.Tech and B.Sc Admissions

For B.Tech admissions at HKBK, students need to pass the 12th standard with at least 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry or Biology. They must also take an entrance exam like KCET or JEE Main. To apply, visit www.hkbk.edu.in or go to the college office. Fill out the application form, pay the INR 1,000 fee, and submit documents like marksheets and exam scores.

MBA Admissions 

To join the MBA program at HKBK College of Engineering in Bangalore, students must follow the following simple process. First, candidates need a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks. For SC/ST students from Karnataka, 45% marks are enough. They must also take an entrance exam like KMAT, CAT, MAT, XAT, or CMAT and score above 60 percentile.

Candidates can also get the application form from the college office at HKBK College of Engineering, Nagavara, Bangalore-560045. They must fill out the form with details like name, education, and exam scores. The application fee is INR 1,000, payable online or by Demand Draft to HKBK College of Engineering. Required documents include bachelor’s degree marksheets, entrance exam scorecard, 10th and 12th marksheets, ID proof, and photos. These must be uploaded online or sent to the college address.

The HKBKCE Library is a resource centre for teaching, learning & research. Being the heart of the academic centre, it is home for all the information services. It plays a proactive role in enabling access to information resources of all kind and providing innovative, responsive and effective services to meet the changing needs of the academic community.

The major objective of our library is to provide authentic information to the student at any given point of time. The library is spread over two floors, state of art digital library, Reference Section, Journals/Magazines and Newspaper Sections are made available at the First floor and Stack Area, Circulation Counter, Students Discussion Rooms, OPAC Search at the Second floor of the library building. The library holds a hybrid collection of printed as well as electronic resources which include books, journals, databases, CDs/DVDs, e-books, e-journals, reports, course materials, previous years question papers, bound volumes, project reports, case studies, conference proceedings, etc. Currently the library holds over 51115 volumes, provides access to electronic resources, newspapers and magazines, and also have Institutional membership of VTU Consortium.

Department of Physical Education & Sports Science serve as a vital and integral part of the student life in campus. The mission of the department is to provide a broad spectrum of sports, recreation and leisure activities for students, staff and faculty, as well as the members of the local community. The primary direction is to provide services and programs that stimulate growth, development and retention of students in a contemporary and safe environment that develops fitness and wellness, social interaction and leadership opportunities.

Accommodation and Management

• Our Boys and Girls Hostels are managed by a dedicated General Manager of Operations who oversees the end-to-end operations.
  
• All students are expected to reside in the hostels during their course, fostering a sense of community and a conducive atmosphere for academic concentration.
  
• Local students living within a 30 km radius are permitted to stay at home.
  

Transport

HKBK College of Engineering is located in Nagawara and is well connected by BMTC (Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation) bus service. Besides, the college has dedicated buses and provides pick-up and drop services to the students and staff from the campus to the different parts of the city on the approved routes which covers a major part of the city. Interested students may choose the nearest bus stop to their residence.

All buses reach the college on time except on unavoidable circumstances like traffic jam, breakdown etc. All efforts are made to ensure bus to reach on time and safely.

Transport facilities are also provided for the staff and student to participate in Academic and Sports activities outside the College as and when required.
