HMS Institute of Technology (HMSIT)
HMS Institute of Technology is a private engineering college located in Tumkur, Karnataka. The Institute was established during 1997- 98 by the non-profit organization, H. M. S Education Society (Regd.) with the objective of providing Technical Education amongst the students and the dissemination of scientific knowledge in the Society.
H.M.S Education Society (R), Tumkur (Karnataka) has a long history of two decades in imparting Technical, Para Medical and General Education for the benefit of eligible candidates in India and abroad. Today H. M. S Education Society is a household name in the field of Education in Tumkur. It stands apart for its quality Education for the diversified courses it offers in the field of Technology, Para-Medicine etc. More than 3000 students from all parts of India and abroad are studying in its campus right from L.K.G to Graduation & Post Graduation courses.
HMSIT has a sprawling campus of 28 acres, with beautiful landscaping amidst modern facilities and infrastructure for the students and faculty. All the Buildings are architecturally designed to suit the natural rolling terrain. The Institute is located on NH-4, Kesaramadu Post, Kyathsandra, Near Toll Gate, Tumkur, Karnataka, some 60 K.M from Bangalore towards Mumbai, where all kinds of Institutions like, MBBS, BDS, Engineering, BPT, DPT, Open Universities, MCA and MBA are situated. The Institute Provides Undergraduate courses in various branches of Engineering and post graduate program in Management. The Courses offered include BE Degree in 5 disciplines and an MBA Degree.
HMSIT Facilities include Library, English Lab, Hostel (Boys & Girls), Health Centre, Seminar Hall, Transport, ATM, Campus Canteen, EDUSAT Online Interactive, Wi-Fi, Data Centre, Browsing Centre, Sports and Cultural.
