Hoysala Academy is a Registered Society established by academicians in association with a Team of professionals interested to serve the society. The selfless dedication and Clear Vision of the Academy has so far helped in the development of the Rural & Urban Youth. The Services and Support extended by the Academy has resulted in dramatic development of both the Institution and the public in General.

In the Year 2004, Hoysala Academy got associated with Sikkim Manipal University with the aim of imparting higher education to the Students of Karnataka. Degrees like B.Sc (IT), BBA, M.Sc (IT), MCA and MBA were offered to the Students under the banner of Hoysala College of Management & IT Studies, Shimoga.

In the Year 2006, Hoysala Academy got affiliated to Kuvempu University for offering BBM/BBA and B.Com Degrees. These degrees were offered in the name of Hoysala College of Management and currently the institution is recognized by Govt. of Karnataka.

In the year 2012-13 Hoysala Academy got the permissions to run various Vocational Training programs under skill development initiative scheme from DGE&T, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt of India.

In the year 2013, Hoysala College of Management & IT Studies got Recognized by University of Mysore, Manasagangotri, Mysore to run full time MBA programs.

Today Hoysala has emerged into a very strong Force diversifying its activities into numerous other divisions like Establishing an ENGLISH LAB , SKILL DEVELOPMENT LAB etc.

Hoysala College OF Management & IT Studies, Shimoga has an internship cell that prepares students for the corporate world by giving mock interviews and helping them complete an internship that gives them an idea of ?? how things will be after they leave college. Under the competent guidance of the faculty, students gain confidence and experience in ace interviews, which in turn helps companies come to the campus for training.

The candidates must be studying in Classes 11 and 12 at a recognised educational institution in India. Applicants must have scored at least 60% marks in the preceding class. The annual family income of the applicants from all sources must be less than or equal to₹2,50,000.

Hostel

Hoysala College OF Management & IT Studies, Shimoga Hostel There are separate hostels for girls and boys with fully furnished rooms with attached bathrooms. With a student capacity of 300 each, we have excellent hostel facilities, including drinking water, hot water, uninterrupted power supply, and security. All the hostel rooms have a high-speed internet connection. Also, there is a spacious, tidy, and hygienic cafeteria, offering a variety of cuisines, including North Indian, South Indian, and Chinese, with separate counters for vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.
