IES College of Engineering (IESCE), the flagship institution of IES Education City, is conceived and developed as a hi-tech technical training institution with state of the art facilities conforming to the specifications of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. Dr.S.Brilly Sangeetha is the Principal. She leads a team of highly qualified and dedicated HODs and faculty members.

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics put together are eligible for admission to B. Tech under Govt.

B. Tech
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or equivalent with 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics put together are eligible for admission under Management quota.

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics put together are eligible for admission to B.Tech under Govt. quota.

Candidates should have qualified in the KEAM 2019.

NRI candidates
NRI candidates are not required to appear in KEAM 2019. Other qualifications and eligibility criteria are as same as applicable to management quota.

M.Tech
The candidates shall have a B.Tech degree in the respective branch with minimum 60% marks for general category, 54% for SEBC and a pass for SC/ST.

The main objective of the placement cell is to embed in the students a professional outlook, leadership qualities, motivation, commitment and dedication with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. The Centre establishes a personal rapport with students to help them develop an educational plan and guide them through out their academic span, ultimately resulting in the realization of their career goals. Training and Placement is an integral part of any engineering graduate seeking the right perspective and orientation before entering the job market. Multinational companies are in need of well groomed graduates with the right mix of academics and soft skills. Frequent industrial visits are arranged for students to acquaint themselves with the present industrial scenario. The centre conducts diverse training programmes and has been successful in placing students in various corporate entities in India and abroad. Human Resource Development classes are conducted for students regularly.

Further, our students are provided with extensive training to enhance their generic skills like communication, inter-personal relation, innovative and creative thinking, personal attributes etc by reputed professional training institutions. The cell is managed by a professional team and works round the year to ensure successful and respectable placements. The Training & Placement Centre has been successful in placing a substantial number of our students with the best of organizations such as Infosys, IBM, Wipro, Suntec, Oracle, and Reliance Communications to name a few and is committed towards attaining 100% placements in the coming years.

Scholarships
The AICTE has empowered under section 10(e) of AICTE act to formulate schemes for promoting technical education for women, handicapped and weaker section of society. We have already introduced Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme for women, economically backward and physically handicapped meritorious students in our college since 2007.



CENTRAL SECTOR SCHOLARSHIP (CSS)
Students should have secured more than 80% marks for +2 exams. Annual family income should not exceed Rs.6 lakhs.

Rs. 20000 per annum towards Course fee. Maintenance allowance of Rs. 5000/10000 per annum.

C.H MUHAMMED KOYA SCHOLARSHIP (MGS)
1st year Muslim/converted christian girls students are eligible.Should have secured more than 50% marks in +2 exams.Family income should not exceed Rs.4.5 lakh per annum.

E GRANTZ
Scholarship benefits for various categories differ. Requirements also vary. Scholarship is based on income for SCBC & FC. Annual family income of the students of SCBC & FC should not exceed Rs.1 lakh. No income limit for SC & OEC.
