IFIM was established in 1995 by the DSIJ (Dalal Street Investment Journal) Group and was promoted by the Centre for Developmental Education (CDE). Over the years, the IFIM Group has carved a niche for itself as a front-runner for quality education in India. Admission Criteria

Admission Process 

• Admission depends on the course. For UG courses (e.g. BBA, B.Com, BCA, etc.), eligibility is generally 10+2 (or equivalent) pass.
  
• Selection for many courses involves merit-based selection; for some, there may be entrance tests or internal assessments as per IFIM policy.
  
• As per recent admission guidelines, IFIM provides scholarship/financial aid to eligible students — for economically weaker sections (EWS), merit-based, sports-based, and special-category scholarships.
  

Eligibility

• For PG courses (MBA, PGDM, M.Com), a relevant bachelor’s degree is required.

Placement

The Placement Committee seeks to fulfil the mission of ensuring lifelong employability for the students of IFIM by aligning the learning outcomes of academic programs in IFIM to the Industry needs. We believe that Continuous Employability requires an individual to consistently augment one’s inherent abilities to remain in demand. Thus, we help all current and past students in skilling, upskilling and reskilling themselves.

Internships

• From the moment they step foot on campus, students at IFIM School of Management are pushed through the rigours of corporate life. Through IFIM itself, numerous industry interfaces are accessible to them to further their learning. The internship programme, which lasts for around two months, is the most important of these.
  
• A student’s first year of school is the perfect time to evaluate their knowledge through an internship with a business. They are required to work on a project that will both benefit the business they are employed with and provide them with significant learning opportunities.
  
• The internship is regarded as a component of the curriculum, and the student must maintain regular contact with mentors at their place of employment as well as faculty members on campus.
  

Scholarship

1. Scholarship for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)

The EWS scholarship will be 100% and will cover tuition and hostel fees (Registration fees as per course will be charged).

Eligibility Criteria

• To avail the EWS scholarship the following criteria shall be observed
  
• The income criteria for EWS shall be that the family income should be below Rs 5 lac per annum.
  
• The candidate should have undergone the IFIM selection process and earned qualifying marks prescribed for the EWS scholarships and have been recommended by the ASP panel and approved by the Director.
  

2. Merit Scholarship

The merit scholarships will be equivalent to 50 & 25 percent of the tuition fee based on the scholarship criteria.

• Earned qualifying marks prescribed for the merit scholarships.

Milan’23 was marvelous annual Alumni meet of IFIM Institutions held at The LaLiT Ashok, Bangalore on 18th of March 2023. The event was organized by Alumni Association which benefited students and institutions in numerous ways.IFIM College provides a comprehensive campus environment that supports both academics and student life. Facilities include: smart classrooms, digital infrastructure, dedicated labs (finance labs, analytics labs, computer labs), a modern library, hostel accommodation with Wi-Fi, cafeteria/dining hall, sports & gym, auditorium/conference halls, and student support services.
