Impact College of Engineering & Applied Sciences, established in the year 2004, is a leading College of Engineering where students become engineers and make a world of difference.  It is a unit of Impact Group of Institutions (IGI) which was founded on the principles of Manpower Planning and Career Training.  Impact’s track record in Engineering Education spans nearly forty years, beginning with the Impact Polytechnic, which was established in 1983.  Today, it offers 8 disciplines in Engineering at the bachelor’s level and 9 disciplines in the diploma level and is engaged in creating human capital that addresses needs of the engineering fraternity for India and the world. The group has over five prestigious colleges, institutes and schools under its aegis - each unfailingly contributing to create a league of professionals. Impact College of Engineering & Applied Sciences offers range of both Graduate (B.E.) and Post-graduate (M. Tech) programs in Engineering.  It offers B.E in 8 Disciplines, M.Tech in 2 specializations as well as MBA.  It also offers Ph.D. program in Mechanical Engineering.  For admissions to the courses the student appears for the Common  Entrance exam (KCET / COMEDK / Karnataka PGCET/ KMAT) and is ranked according to the performance in the test.

Department of Engineering has large, airy, well equipped classrooms and Labs. Class rooms are equipped with projectors as well, to support modern pedagogy, well maintained class rooms for each class with OHP good ventilation ,seminar hall for each department with audio visual systems white boards facilities for PPT presentations.The staffrooms at the Engineering department is spacious, well lit and has a welcoming aura. Each faculty has a separate cubicle and caters to the faculty’s privacy.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) encompasses a vast array of cloud computing services and products, each with its own specifications. AWS services include computing power, storage options, machine learning, analytics, networking, databases, and more. Robotics labs in Impact is equipped with a combination of hardware, software, and experimental setups to support research and development in robotics.Some general components found in the lab are Robotic Arms, Sensors and Perception, Software and programming tools eg C++ and python, also prototyping and fabrication equipments. The CADD lab of impact is typically designed to support computer-aided design activities and training in engineering, architecture, and related fields.Common components include CAD software suites, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Revit. Sufficient data storage for storing large CAD files and project data, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems to prevent data loss during power outages.
