Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy, commonly known as IIPE, is a public institute located in Visakhapatnam Andhra Pradesh India. It is an Institute of National Importance established by the Government of India in 2016. It was founded with support from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and the vision is to develop skilled professionals and research in the energy and petroleum sector.

The institute is situated at Vangali village in Sabbavaram mandal in Anakapalli district near Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. The permanent campus spreads over about 201 acres. Admission Procedure
