Indira Medical College & Hospitals, Thiruvallur, founded in 2020, is a private medical college.  It offers good quality medical education and healthcare for the people dwelling in Thiruvallur and its surrounding places.  Indira Educational Group has been establishing educational institutions in the area of Engineering & Technology, Management & Research, Teacher Training & Education, Dental and Nursing.  Along with these institutes, medical course was also added from the year 2020.

The IMCH Campus spread over  60 acres of land is located in green surroundings in V.G.R.Gardens, V.G.R. Nagar, Pandur , Thiruvallur Taluk & District, Tamil Nadu.  It is just 10 kms from Thiruvallur Railway Station.

IMCH, Thiruvallur is affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR University, Chennai. The college is recognised by National Medical Council (NMC).

Indira Medical College, Thiruvallur is one of the new private colleges established in Tamil Nadu that provides Undergraduate courses, i.e. MBBS Only.  It offers 100 MBBS seats which are allotted on the basis of NEET scores.  The Counselling Conducted Authority is the Directorate of Medical Education, Tamil Nadu.

• Placements: 150 students were placed from our college. The highest salary offered was INR 1,50,000, the lowest salary offered was INR 40,0000 and the average salary offered was INR 60,000. To get in NEET PG, MD/MS degree or passing in any All India exams is the admission criteria.

• Cafeteria

  Nobody is at the top of their game on an empty stomach. When the mood strikes for a quick meal, the students can visit our multi-cuisine cafeteria. Following all safety protocols, which are cross-checked by the management, the cafeteria serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Our water treatment plant supplies purified water to the cafeteria. A Canteen supervisory committee has been established to look over all the operations.

  The college has health center with first aid facility for the students.

• Transport Facility

  The college offers a fleet of Omni-buses that shuttle between the many strategic points in our city. On paying a charge, both teachers and students can make use of the buses. Those coming in from Thiruvallur station can use these buses, free of cost. Ensuring the safety of students, the college regularly services the buses with the help of trained mechanics. Senior faculty members are most welcome to use the air-conditioned coaches.
