The International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore, a Deemed University, popularly known as IIITB, was established in 1998 with a vision to contribute to the IT world by focusing on education and research, entrepreneurship and innovation. The International Institute of Information Technology's Bangalore facility is located in the Electronic City, which is home to many IT-related businesses. The Bangalore International Airport is conveniently located 52 km away and can be reached in only 1.5 hours via Hosur Road and Bellary Road. The campus is connected to the Krantivira Sangoli Rayanna train station, which is 22 km away, via the Hosur Road in addition to being reachable by roads and aeroplanes.

Admission

The International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore, Bangalore Scholarships- A grant of INR 17 lakhs will graduate one M.Tech student meeting both tuition and living expenditure over the five years. A grant of INR 7 lakhs will enable one M Tech student to meet his tuition and living expenses. The Institute charges a lower fee for the Ph.D. scholars. Thus a grant of INR 17 lakhs will meet their reduced tuition, and living expenditure and leave them with a stipend over four years.

International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore, offers M. Tech and M. Sc programs at the postgraduate level. Basic eligibility mandatory for admission into the PG program is that candidate must have passed graduation in relevant subjects from a recognized board with the minimum aggregate of 55% marks.

Final selection into the M. Tech program is made based on the candidate’s score in the GATE entrance examination.
For the M. Sc program, the IIIT Bangalore institution conducts an entrance test followed by an interview.

International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore also offers integrated programs like B. Tech + M. Tech. To place admission into B. Tech + M. Tech integrated course, and the candidate must first complete 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the compulsory subject.

Final selection into B. Tech + M. Tech program is done based on the candidate’s score in JEE Mains entrance examination.
For admission into Ph. D program at IIIT Bangalore, the candidate must have a master’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized education board.

International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Bangalore believes that every student must get an equal chance to experience a premium education. As a result, IIIT Bangalore scholarships are offered based on either the educational accomplishments or financial needs of the candidate. The decision about candidate selection is taken by the representative of the sponsor after evaluation. The institute provides a scholarship on their behalf as well. The International Institute of Information Technology Scholarship rewards Rs. 50,000 to 18 students every year. The selection for this scholarship is done by choosing the students who have made it to the Dean’s Merit List. The aim of this IIITB scholarship is to encourage the students to pursue their academic excellence. Scholarship for M.Tech Candidates-
The Institute has offered about 5 scholarships (out of the 150+ students admitted in 2021) to meritorious students joining the M.Tech programme (CSE + ECE). The institute expects to offer a similar number of industry-funded scholarships in 2022 as well. The scholarship amount covers almost all student expenses over the duration of their M. Tech programme. The selection for these industry-sponsored scholarships is carried out by the industry representatives along with IIITB faculty coordinators.

In addition to the IIITB scholarships, GATE-qualified students will be eligible for fellowships from AICTE as per AICTE norms. (across CSE and ECE).

CGI Scholarship:
This Scholarship is for Top 20 girl students (as per their jee mains score) who join IIITB's IMTech 2022 programme. Each of the 20 girl students will receive 100% tuition waiver for the 1st semester.

Residential Accommodation:
The International Institute Of Information Technology at hostel has Separate hostels for boys and girls that are available within 2 km from the college, with 24 x 7 internet connectivity. Preference is given to non-localities.

Library:
The International Institute Of Information Technology at library is Spacious and extremely well-stocked the library is regularly updated with the latest journals and newsletters.It also provides access to online databases such as ACM, IEL, etc. Its services are also provided by working professionals. The library is accessible to students from 9.30 am to 11 pm every day.

Auditorium:
The International Institute Of Information Technology at Auditorium with all the latest equipment is world-class with a seating capacity of 900+ seats. Sports facilities: Fitness enthusiasts can discover the mind-body balance by working out in the well-equipped gymnasium and on the jogging tracks which stretch for more than 1 km. The campus features a state-of-the-art basketball court, which spans over 6,600 square feet. Basketball, Badminton, Cricket, Football, Tennis, Table Tennis, and Volleyball are popular campus sports.

Classrooms:
​The well-designed main classroom comfortably seats in excess of 150 students. Video conferencing capabilities are built in using state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment. They include electronic smart boards, location-sensing microphones, and multiple LCD projectors, thus enabling an enriching learning experience. Meals are available at the Food Court located in a separate building (the food that our students have is the same food that is also had by faculty and staff, and offered to visitors including distinguished dignitaries, thus ensuring quality). A separate small cafeteria is available for snacks during working hours. Residential facilities are available for students in the form of separate boys' and girls' hostels, where students stay in individual rooms, have wired and wireless network connectivity for 24 hours a day, and also have access to recreational facilities. The hostel accommodates 180 male students (single occupancy with shared bath) and 80 female students (single occupancy with shared bath); in addition there is accommodation for 48 students (double occupancy with attached bath) and four fully furnished suites for short term visiting faculty. There are also a small number of suites for visitors such as guest speakers.

Hostel:
Separate boys’ and girls’ have been allotted to the students with single occupancies and 24 hour internet connectivity is also featured.

Boys’ hostels have the total capacity of 180 boys students (for single occupancy) and 48 students for double occupancy while the girls hostel have accommodations for up to 80 girls.
