• For B.com and B.A course, the candidate should have passed 10+2 with 45% (40% for reserved category).
• For B.com (Hons) candidates should have passed 10+2.
• For B.Sc in Bio-Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Nano Science and Nano Technology candidates should have passed 10+2 with 40% aggregate.
• For B.Sc. in Electronic Equipment Maintenance, the candidate should have passed 10+2 with 45% (40% for reserved category).
• For B.Sc. in Information Technology, candidates should have passed 10+2 with 50% (45% for reserved category) and Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

Facilities Offered @ Islamia College of Science and Commerce, Srinagar

The library was started in the year 1961 along with the establishment of the college. The current infrastructure is a 3 storey building and is named as the Maulana Rasool Shah Memorial Library. It has more than 100,000 volumes of books. The library also has a small collection of rare books, CD’s, cassettes, Thesis, and Dissertations.The College has a canteen functioning in a separate two-storied building where various food items, tea, snacks, cold drinks, ice cream, bread-pakodas etc are available for the students and faculty at comparatively lower rates. Separate seating and refreshment arrangements inside the canteen are available for the staff, boys and girl students.In order to provide a medium for the interaction of the students by bringing them together in a social setting and to promote environment awareness among the people, the College has following Clubs:

The Department of Information Technology and Support System (IT&SS) was established in the year 2015 for the smooth conduct of admission and examination of students, result generation, providing information technology support services to different departments and maintaining the College website. Besides this the department of IT&SS serves the ever-increasing technology support needs of faculty, staff, and students by providing system integration and technology support.The College has a dispensary where first aid medical treatment is provided to the students and the faculty during the College hours throughout the year.
