JCT College of Engineering & Technology (Autonomous) – JCTCE is a Top Ranking Engineering College in Tamil Nadu. It is a Private, Self Financed, Autonomous, Non-Minority, Co-Educational Institution. It was established in 2009 -10 by Shri Jagannath Educational Health & Charitable Trust. The College is under the leadership of Thiru. S A Subramanian, Founder, Thiru. R Arulselvan, Chairman, Thiru. R Gautaman, Vice Chairman and Thiru R Durga Shankar, Secretary & Managing Trustee. The objective to establish the College was to provide education to all, especially the down trodden and rural population.

JCT College is located at Pichanur, Coimbatore on the foothills of the Western Ghats, in a serene, eco-friendly, lush green environment on a 11.6 Acres shared Campus of 30 Acres. Coimbatore Junction Railway Station is 8 Kms away and Coimbatore International Airport is 34 Kms from the College Campus.

JCT College of Engineering & Technology is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited the College with an "A" Grading. The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has accredited Six Academic Courses of the College. The College is ISO I9001:2015 certified. The University Grants Commission (UGC) conferred the College with Autonomous status in 2019-20.

Admission Process

JCT College of Engineering and Technology offers MTech in four specialisations at the PG level. Candidates are selected based on the scores obtained in GATE, CEETA PG + counselling. The college offers two-year courses namely Structural Engineering, Power Electronics and Drives, VLSI Design and Engineering Design. The eligibility and selection criteria are mentioned below:

Placement

Companies will come down to campus to conduct pre-placement talks. These talks will give students an idea about the recruiting organizations and opportunities available within these. It also gives students the chance to interact with employees of the company and learn more about the work culture. Based on these talks, students decide to apply for these organizations.The willing students submit their resumes to the company after the presentation or to the Placement committee in case the companies wish to have them early prior to their arrival on campus.

JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore

The JCT College of Engineering and Technology Library functions as a client-oriented learning resource center focusing on the data and information needed for students, faculty, and staff. The scientific and technical information, computing, networking, and multimedia technologies are the foundations of the Library which has evolved from a Building of books to a learning and Information center. The Library supports the college by providing technologically robust environment to enhance student learning. Our college has basic infrastructure required for development of sports skills for students both indoor facilities and outdoor sports facilities to provide opportunity for the students to train themselves. The various teams comprising the students of our college have participated in Anna University Inter Collegiate Tournaments, Coimbatore Inter Collegiate Athletic Association Tournaments and Tamil Nadu Inter Engineering Sports Tournaments.

Transport

College Buses have been arranged to transport students and members of the faculty from various parts of Coimbatore and Palakkad towns. More buses will be arranged depending on the needs of the students.
