JJ College of Engineering & Technology (JJCET) is a Top Class Engineering and Technology College in Tamil Nadu. The college was established in the academic year 1994-95. JJCET is administered by Sowdambikaa Group of Institutions since 2019-20 under the guidance and leadership of its Chairman, Dr S Ramamoorthy and Er. R. Chenthur Selvan is the Vice Chairman.

JJ College of Engineering and Technology is on a massive 100 Acres Campus in green and clean surroundings away from pollution and dust in Ammapettai village, 18 km from Tiruchirappalli abutting the National Highway (NH-45) leading to Dindigul. It is located at Ammapettai, Poolangulathupatti, Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu. The College is 16.9 Kms from Tiruchirapalli Railway Station, 17,1 Kms from the Trichy Central Bus Stand and 22.5 Kms from Tiruchirapalli Airport.

JJCET has its approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The College is ISO 9001:2015 Certified and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA)and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an "A" Grade rating. The College is also recognized and certified by the National Cyber Safety & Security Standards and is in partnership with EC-Council Academia.

The College has a wide choice of Academic Under Graduate and Post Graduate Course options to choose from. The college offers 9 Under Graduate, B.E/ B.Tech & 3 Post Graduate M.E / M.Tech options in different disciplines. Apart from this there is 1 Full Time MBA Program also to choose from.

Admission Procedure

J.J. College of Engineering and Technology admission is based on merit scores of the students in the last qualifying exam or course-level entrances accepted by it. The institution offers various programmes at UG and PG levels. These are offered in multiple streams, such as Engineering, Business and Management Studies and IT and Software. The institution offers courses in affiliation with Anna University.

 J J College of Engineering and Technology offers MTech in four specialisations at the PG level. Candidates are selected based on the scores obtained in GATE, CEETA PG + counselling. The college offers two-year courses namely Structural Engineering, Power Electronics and Drives, VLSI Design and Engineering Design. The eligibility and selection criteria are mentioned below:
