Jagannath University (short name: JU Jaipur) is a private university located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. It was established in 2008 by the Jagannath Gupta Memorial Educational Society, a registered charitable trust. University Placement Cell commonly known as CRMC (Corporate Resource Management Centre) describes the functions and activities that support the growing relationship of academia and industry. It works with the students to make them industry fit and industry relevant. The CRMC is manned by professionals from the corporate world who bring with them rich Industrial experience. The Placement department at JaganNath University comprises of the students’ committee with 10 members from the last two years of the course and the Placement department represented by the Placement Managers, faculties and industry professionals.

The leading companies from all sectors are invited by the Placement department on campus, where the eligible students are facilitated to go through the entire selection process. The entire process is governed by the student's ability and performance as well as the requirements and norms of the Industry.

Keeping in view the unprecedented hardships due to Covid, Jagannath Gupta Memorial Educational Society is offering a special scholarship scheme in addition to its existing scholarship schemes. Under this scheme, all those students who have unfortunately lost the earning member in the family shall be offered fee waiver upto 100% in educational institutions run by the Society. This fee waiver is subject to eligibility and merit.

The library plays a pivotal role in the intellectual pursuits of students and academia at the university. The library of the University, fully computerized, is a veritable storehouse of information with ample text and reference books, national and international periodicals & journals, thesis and dissertations.
Modern technology transforms the way of living via creating the building bridges among people, bringing citizens from different cultures and backgrounds close to each other. Technology speeds up our lives to make our surroundings comfortable and more valuable. It provides the capability of doing what even could not be thought of a few years ago. And it is possible due to continuous efforts of technocrats who nurtured an environment conducive to learning and living with modern technologies.

The University at present has 4 separate hostels for boys and girls. There are 3 boys hostels with a capacity of 150 each; and one girl’s hostel with 84 seats. The hostel rooms are spacious, comfortable well furnished and are provided with 24 hours internet facility, reading room and additional indoor sports facilities.An informal place for discussion and refreshment, not only provides a vibrant atmosphere and unleaded fuel for the day but also put forth a new method of knowledge sharing called the "Cafeteria approach". It is an innovative and informal method of learning where one can debate, discuss and deliberate over a cup of coffee and thereby actively nurture one’s interpersonal skills. A well furnished and spacious Cafeteria is located in the heart of the campus. It provides all type of nutritious and hygienic eatables and beverages to cater to the multi-ethnic tastes of students, staff and visitors.

The University has well equipped labs for each School of Studies for teaching purpose and research. Students use resources of the laboratories to solve problems, perform developmental experiments and work on projects guided by faculty. By granting longer hour’s lab facility and access to the network from each class room and lecture theatre, information is made easily accessible from any point within the campus. The experiments are designed to provide deeper understanding of phenomenon, facts and fabrication/assembling of equipment from components to get hands-on experience. The drudgery of repetitive measurements is reduced by shift forwards micro computer based laboratory which allows the detailed analysis and interpretation of acquired data for our students.

Transport

University's network of buses covers all nearby neighborhoods, including local communities and townships lying within 50km. The facility and the routes have been designed for the convenience of our students and staff members who are residing outside the campus. This ensures their personal safety, travel reliability and punctuality on the campus.
