B.Tech is a regular program of 4-years duration with 8 specializations. M.Tech is a 2-years duration course with 4 disciplines.

Admission to B.Tech is ased on valid scores in JEE Mains/REAP whereas admission to M.Tech is on the basis of merit. For admission in B.Tech (Lateral) Diploma holders can take admission in the second year with minimum 50% marks in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology from any recognized institute.

Applicants who have passed 10+2/ HSC or its equivalent examination with minimum 60% marks in Physics, Mathematics (as compulsory subjects) and anyone out of these optional subjects viz. Chemistry, Computer Science, Biotechnology, and Biology are considered eligible for admission to B.Tech course.

• Selection criteria for B.Tech is purely based on the norms of AICTE norms.
• The Institute recognizes scores of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) and Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP).

JEC offers an M.Tech program with 4 specializations and 18 seats in each specialization concluding to 72 seats in the entire course. Students who hold BE, B.Tech Degree in relevant specialization with minimum 55% marks are considered eligible to get admission in the M.Tech program. Admission to the program is given on the basis of candidate’s merit in the Degree course and preference is given to the students with valid GATE score.
