Jaya College of Engineering and Technology, a Unit of Jaya Group, is one of the pioneering technical institutions in this part of the country.  Is an unaided - Private Institute located at Chennai In Tamil Nadu It was established during the academic year 2000-2001 under the aegis of Jaya Educational Trust, Thiruninravur, Chennai which was found by Prof. A. Admission Procedure

JIT - Jaya Institute of Technology Tiruvallur Chennai admission is based on merit scores of the students in the last qualifying exam or course-level entrances accepted by it. The institution offers various programmes at UG and After 10th levels. These are offered in multiple streams, such as Engineering. The institution offers courses in affiliation with Anna University.

Admission Process

A pass in any recognized Bachelor's Degree (in any discipline)of minimum of 3 years duration with 10 + 2 + 3/4 years pattern. (i.e. 10th + HSC + 3/4 Years Degree) and should obtain the required percentage in the qualifying examinations.

Candidates have to appear for any one of the following entrance examinations mentioned against the Degree Courses (Except for NRI / Foreign Nationals) for P.G. Courses. No entrance for U.G. Courses but they have to register with Consortium for Rank Card

The Department achieves this objective by having a targeted approach towards the three major stakeholders in the placement process i.e. the Students, the Companies and the college.The Training & Placement Cell plays a crucial role in scouting for and locating job opportunities for the young graduates and post graduates passing out from the college by keeping liaison with reputed firms and industrial establishments.It functions under the supervision of a full time Training and Placement Officer. The Central Library, which has been established in the year 2000. It is housed in a one new Building located at the eastern side in the main campus. The total area of the Library building is about 520 sq.m. Many knowledge-based services like that of Reference, Bibliography, McGraw Hill access engineering, DELNET, Reprography, CD-ROM Databases, Internet browsing and e-services are provided by the library for its users.The seminar hall with a capacity to seat 500 students with highly advanced equipments such as multimedia projectors and quality sound system is housed in our campus. Guest lectures, seminars, and conferences are conducted in the seminar hall through which students are provided a lively environment to exchange their innovative ideas and be updated with the current technical scenario around the world.

Our campus has wired as well as Wi-Fi (Wireless network) connectivity to enable the students to be connected to the unlimited resource of information available in the web. This facility is available in the library also to browse research journals and magazines to broaden the academic skills of the students and faculty.Professional guidance is provided by the faculty for resolving personal conflicts, emotional problems and help students with their personal and academic issues. Well experienced wardens are appointed in the hostels to counsel the students round the clock.
