This JCET is located in Karattampatti, SH 62, Pagalavadi, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu spread over a large Campus of 33.00 acres of land.

 JCET was affiliated to Bharathidasan University until 2001.  Currently the college is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. This private institute has been accredited with Grade B by NAAC.  Its courses are approved by AITCE.

The department of Physical Education functions actively throughout the year from 5.30 am to 7.00 pm . It works under the guidance of the Physical director with the assistance of Physical training instructor.
The college has an impressive record of performance in zonal and National level sporting events. Mr.Satheesh of Mechanical Engineering has played for Mumbai Indians at Indian Premium League (IPL)

LIBRARY
The college has a modern central library with 55,237 volumes, besides 124 National and 840 (including online) and 87 International Journals .
The collection is rich and diverse, especially in terms of breadth and depth of coverage, to support the learning, teaching and research need of the college. Students and staff surf the availability of books through LAN connected computers.
Every department has its own library stocked with reference and text books. The library functions from 8 am to 8 pm on all working days and from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm on holidays.The open access system is observed in the library.
To provide quality service to the users, to disseminate technical knowledge, to offer modern tools for accessing information, to network with leading libraries is the main vision of JCET.

HOSTEL
The college has well furnished hostels for boys & girls.
Fine dining facilities, first aid facilities and recreations are provided separately for boys and girls. JCET has 5 deputy wardens for the welfare of the students.
Safe drinking water and nutritious foods (Veg as well as Non Veg) are provided.

Effort is being taken for the comfortable stay of the inmates and make them feel at home.

In order to have a good health care of the college staff and students, a doctor is appointed. Further for urgent medical assistance, JCET has signed an MOU with Annai Hospital, Thuraiyur .
