The Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University, Jaipur has been established and incorporated under the Act 17 of 2008 passed by Rajasthan State Legislature and notified by the Government of Rajasthan through its official Gazette Notification No. F.2 (23) Vidhi /2/2008 dated April 21, 2008.

The University is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) & 12 (B) of the UGC Act, 1956. University also has been accredited by National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) with CGPA of 2.63 on Seven Point Scale at B+ grade on 30 November 2018.
The University is established in rural settings with an aim to provide women education in unconventional fields and fill the gap by offering all the programs under one umbrella for female candidates to provide skilled, educated and disciplined candidates to present them as a role model to the society in the form of women leader at key positions in academic institutions.

Resolution
The resolution of the University is to award degree to the students who have passed University Mission Courses (UMC) i.e. Women Rights & Laws, Self Defense, Help Aid, Yoga & Meditation, Gender Sensitization, My Behavior & Ethics, Military Science and Civil Defense in the form of University "Nation Building & Community Development Program (NBCD) Certificate" along with required Academic Credits.

Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University (JVWU) offers more than 20 programs in English and Hindi medium. The college offers courses in various streams such as Arts, Science, and Commerce in Undergraduate, Postgraduate and PhD levels. The University also offers a number of Diploma courses with a UG and PG combinations for a duration of 2 years to 7 years.

JVW U was established in the year 2008 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The University is approved by UGC and it is known as India’s first private state women’s university set up by the Rajasthan State Legislature.

Corporate Resource Center and Placement Cell (CRCP)

At JVWU, an integral part of the career development programme is placement, which is undertaken by the Corporate Resource Center and Placement Cell (CRCP). The CRCP prepares the students for a successful future and not merely a job.

The placement process is manifold. It includes 1.Personality development, 2. Gap identification, 3. Mock interview, 4. Pre- placement counseling, 5. CV formation and 6. Placement. During their academic tenure the students go through a well planned rigorous course curriculum along with real life practical trainings and internships in reputed research institutes and/or corporate houses.
The academic curriculum is so structured that it requires the students to undergo a mandatory summer internship of 6-8 weeks with reputed organizations. The internship helps the students to apply their classroom learning of theoretical concepts to real life management settings. This process enables to sharpen their ability to diagnose, analyze and resolve problems. The option of short term live projects with leading companies is also provided to the students. This runs parallel to their academic sessions and gives them valuable insight into the workings of the industry.

At JVWU, the focus is on the overall development of an individual. This is achieved by the CRCP, which lays a lot of emphasis on grooming and helps each student refine her communication and behavioral skills, thereby making them good fits for the industry. The academic environment takes advantage of the world class, state of the art infrastructure provided at JVWU. Corporate Resource Centre at JVWU often executes essential placement activities to generate ample placement opportunities for the students. Policy Highlights

--Recruitment through the Corporate Resource Centre will be procured for students of JVWU only.
--All Students have compulsion to visit and be register with the Corporate Resource Center and Placement Cell (CRCP) as soon as they reach the final year of their program.
--The placement process would commence in September every year.
--Orientation and Policy talk for the registered students would be organized at the beginning of every academic session to provide an insight into the guidelines and policies of the CRCP and introduce the placement team.

Hostels are for Domicile of Jaipur, Ajmer & Sikar District only. Separate food is prepared daily with and without Onion. Special Food served as per the required timings during festivals for the students belonging to specific groups of Religion. Dining Hall (Mess) Facility.
