Admission Procedure

Admission to B.Tech programs is based on scores of TNEA conducted by Anna University. Students are admitted to respective courses on the basis of their grades . The total tuition fees of the B.Tech. program is INR 3.48 Lakhs.

Admission Process

Admission to the programme is completely based on the merit scores achieved by the students in their last academics or accepted exam. Candidates who are selected for admission need to pay a total tuition fee of INR 50,000 - 10,00,000 for B.E. / B.Tech admission. Additionally, students must meet the below eligibility criteria for admission:

Eligibility

• 10+2 with 45% aggregate
  
• Accepting Exams: TNEA, CBSE 12th

M.E / M.B.A - 2 Year Course

Admission Process

• Register and secure valid score in TANCET, GATE (or state CET)
• Based on entrance score and merit, candidates are short‑listed.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology with ≥ 50% marks (45% for reserved categories)
• Graduated with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories/Tamil Nadu BC/MBC/SC/ST)

Jeppiaar Engineering College, Kanchipuram

The college is situated at Jeppiaar Nagar on Rajiv Gandhi salai, Chennai in an area of 48 acres. The college provides advanced teaching facilities and excellent placement. The college structure is represented through modern architecture, giving the precinct a dynamic and vibrant atmosphere.The infrastructure also includes a state of art air-conditioned computer laboratory with servers and internet facilities. Work stations have welding and smithy equipment’s that provide hands on experience to our engineering students. Apart from this, each department has its own discipline-based laboratories for study and research.

The other facilities include separate hostels for boys and girls, extensive libraries, seminar halls for UG and PG, reading hall, outdoor and indoor sports grounds, medical room and dining hall for Staff, Students and visitors. The college offers excellent transport facilities to all the students who commute from different parts of the city. The college mess provides homely, healthy, vegetarian and non-vegetarian food to all.Our College Library has been built to International Standards, Spread over an area of 60,000sq.ft. It is centrally air-conditioned. Specialized collection of books, Journals & Non-book materials are available in Basic Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Biotechnology, Humanities and sciences. The collection is replete with 1,04,397 Volumes of Books, 8,292 Titles & 550 CDs. The college has access to 1,273+ e-resources, ASME Journals, IELonline, Springer Link.

Transport

For the transportation of the day-scholar students and staff the college has over 40 buses plying through every nook and corner of Chennai city and its suburbs like Chengalpet, Pattabiram, Avadi, Ambattur, Poonamallee, Thirvettriyur, Kalpakkam etc. The bus routes are operated after considering the need of the students.

All students make use of the college transport or stay in the hostel. Private vehicles like two-wheelers and cars are not permitted, in order to prevent accidents and late-comers to college. All the buses reach the campus before 7:40 a.m. so that students and faculty can have their breakfast and get ready to attend the classes at 8:00 a.m. The buses leave the campus at 3:10 pm, which helps students to reach home early and safe.
