Jerusalem College of Engineering, established in 1995 by Mr. V.P. Murugesh under the Jerusalem Education Trust (1993), has become a prominent institution in Chennai. Known for its commitment to quality education, the college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Engineering, Computer Applications, and Management Studies. Achieving autonomous status in 2019 from the University Grants Commission further enhances its academic freedom and innovative curriculum.  Over the past 29 years, the college has built a strong reputation for excellence in engineering.

JCE is located in a sprawling 23acre modern campus on Velachery Main Road, Narayanapuram, Pallikaranai, Chennai.  It is one of the very rare Institutes which is situated in close proximity to several premier Educational Institutes and also the IT Hub of Chennai.

JCE offers several Under-graduate, Post-graduate and Doctoral programs in Full time mode in the fields of Engineering, Technology, Computer Application, and Management.  Courses offered include B.E ((in 7 Disciplines), B.Tech (in 3 Disciplines), M.E (in 4 Disciplines), MBA (in 2 Specializations), and Ph.D/M.S by Research (in 4 Collaborative Research Centres).  Institution is accredited by NAAC and NBA accreditation is obtained for B.E.- BME and B.E.-CSE programs.

Admission Procedure

Admission to the B.Tech. program is done through TNEA counseling. To apply for the same, the applicant must be a native of Tamil Nadu. If the candidate belongs to a state other than Tamil Nadu, it is mandatory for him/her to produce State Domicile

Admission Process

Admission to the programme is completely based on the merit scores achieved by the students in their last academics or accepted exam. Candidates who are selected for admission need to pay a total tuition fee of INR 2,00,000 for B.E. / B.Tech admission. Additionally, students must meet the below eligibility criteria for admission:

Eligibility

Should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of Vocational stream (Vocational groups in Engineering / Technology) as prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Jerusalem College of Engineering, Chennai offers 2 years M.E, MBA/PGDM programme at the PG level. The selection for MBA/PGDM is based on a valid score in TANCET. Additionally, candidates who seek admission to this course must ensure that they fulfil the below eligibility criteria:

Placement

The Training and Placement Office organizes a various of training program for the students of all semesters with the help of in house experts and experts drawn from professional agencies. Medical/Hospital

The college has a primary health care center with a doctor and a full-time nurse on duty. It aims to take a holistic approach to Student Health and providing, primary health care for all full-time students.

The college has a locally owned and operated gym and the fitness center has all the latest equipment and technology to help students shed pounds. Library

The college has a library that is fully computerized and the barcode system is followed in all transactions. An online Public access catalog system is available for the users. The library is providing Reprographic services (photo-copy) to the users. An assistant is allocated for this. The library has an Inter-Library Loan facility with Anna University, I British Council Library, and MALIBNET (Madras Library Network).
