The College, with its high profile, is placed among the leading educational institutions in the country. The College still marches ahead with bold steps towards its destination, the vision of making itself a premier research centre. As a crowning glory for its unmatched excellence, the College was accredited with B++ Grade (Five Star Status) by the NAAC, in 2003, re-accredited with 'A' Grade in 2009 and again re-accredited with 'A' Grade in 2015. After re-accreditation, the College has made remarkable strides in the field of higher education and reached the stature of a total quality institution.

Our College was conferred Autonomous status by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi and the Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli on 19.10.2012.

The College immediately took all necessary steps to implement autonomy with effect from November, 2012. New Curricula and Syllabi for the various programmes have been prepared and implemented from the second semester of the academic year 2012-2013, after due approval by the Boards of studies, Academic council and Governing Council of our college.

The Academic programme aims at updation of knowledge, acquisition of skills including employability skills with accent on the intellectual and emotional refinement of the students entrusted to our care, in keeping with the vision and mission of our College.

The Admission Committee is constituted to guide the admission process every year.
Admissions are made by the Admission Committee consisting of the Principal, Representatives of the Management and Senior Faculty. The College Application and Prospectus has the entire relevant information programme wise. The Applications submitted by the candidates for UG & PG Programmes are screened by the Admission Committee.
For the eligible candidates the Admission Office sends the call letter, inviting for certificate verification and Interview. Based on merit and by following the guidelines prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu and Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, selections are made. The Selected candidates are asked to pay the Semester fees on or before the time stipulated and submit original certificates to confirm the admission. Once the Payment is made, the admission process is completed.
Spot admissions are also made for candidates of UG & PG Programmes for the seats lying vacant on the last date of admission. 5. Whenever admission tests are essential as per the norms of Government, University and other regulatory bodies, it is also taken into consideration.
For admission into MBA and MCA programmes, the candidates have to write the compulsory admission test conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Government (TANCET) or by the Consortium of Private Colleges approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
Based on the entrance mark and the marks/grade obtained in the qualifying examination, the admissions are made. 8. Though the admission is based on merit, the College follows rules regarding reservations for women, BC, MBC, SC and ST as prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
For M.Phil. Admissions, the norms of Bharathidasan University is strictly adopted. There is an entrance examination which candidates have to pass besides possessing the required marks in the PG Examination for admission.

Placements: Above 70% of the students from our college got placed. The average salary offered in our college is Rs. 20,000 per month. IT companies and many other important companies are the top recruiters for our course. The top role offered in our course is a programming analysis. Above 50% of the students got internships from our course.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions: There is no scholarship scheme for BC students and the fee structure for BSC maths students is 30000 and MSC too. There is no financial advisor on campus and every student must pay their fees by the due date otherwise fine will be issued.
