J.J. College of Engineering and Technology

J.J. Educational, Health & Charitable Trust was established in the year 1994 with a vision to create, Educational facilities in general and Technical institutions in particular, to cater to the socially, educationally and economically under privileged youth from rural areas in and around Tiruchirappalli.  A new chapter has been added to the history of Trichy with the establishment of J.J. College of Engineering and Technology (JJCET) in the academic year 1994-95.  It is a renowned institution of higher learning is located in Tamil Nadu. Now, JJCET has been administered by Sowdambikaa Group of Institutions from the academic year 2019 – 2020.   The college is functioning under the able leadership of its Principal, Dr.K. Rameshwaran.

The JJCET is situated in a sprawling area of more than100 acres in Ammapettai village, Poolangulathupatti, Srirangam, Trichirappalli, Tamil Nadu.  It is located 18 km from Trichy abutting the National Highway (NH45) leading to Dindigul.

JJCET is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.

Over the years, JJCET has grown by leaps and bounds in every aspect. This college has become one of the pioneering technical institutions in this part of the country in a very short span offering several Under- Graduate and Post-Graduate courses in Engineering and Technology as well as MBA and MCA.  The courses  offered in Full Time Mode, are aimed to provide the students with the necessary skills and knowledge in their field of interest.  Candidate can pursue in multiple range of courses like B.E. / B.Tech, MBA/PGDM, MCA, M.E./M.Tech with the stream of Engineering, Business & Management Studies and IT & Software.  From introductory courses to more advanced topics, there are a variety of courses at affordable fee to choose from.   Courses offered by institute are well recognized and acknowledged by approving body like AICTE.   are offered at very affordable fees.   The accepted Exams for admission are TNEA/CBSE 12^th for the UG courses and TANCET/CEETA-PG for the PG courses.
