Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University College of Engineering Kakinada is commonly known as UCEK or JNTUK UCEK. It is located in the city of Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh. It is a government engineering institute and one of the oldest technical colleges in the region. It was originally by In 1946.The institution was developed under the state higher education system and later became part of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada. The main purpose of the institute is to provide quality technical education, promote research and produce skilled engineers for industry and society.

The college is situated in Ramanayyapeta area of Kakinada in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. Admission Procedure

Admission to B.Tech programs at JNTUK University College of Engineering, Kakinada (UCEK) primarily requires qualifying the AP EAMCET exam and participating in state-level counseling. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and chemistry (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks. Lateral entry is via AP ECET.
