JIET has been ranked first in the state by the affiliating university continuously three times in a row (Session 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21) and ranked as per the QIV ranking of BTU. JIET Admission 2024 is now open for inviting applications for its B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, PhD along with various UG and PG courses. Interested candidates can visit the official JIET website and fill out the online application form. The last date to fill the application form is August 14. For certain courses, JIET may require candidates to appear for entrance examinations such as JEE Main, CMAT, CAT, GATE, or RPET, depending on the program applied for. The selection of candidates is primarily based on their academic performance and entrance exam scores (if applicable).

JIET Jodhpur B.Tech Admission 2024

JIET Jodhpur offers a full-time B.Tech course in 6 disciplines. 10+2 with a minimum of 60% aggregate is the eligibility criteria for admission. Admission to the B.Tech program is based on JEE Main exam score. The expected cutoff for JEE Main is mentioned below:

JIET Jodhpur B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

The candidates applying for the B.Tech program must check the eligibility criteria for the same:

• Passed 10+2 examination with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects.
• 40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category in the above subjects taken together.

OR

• Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category).

JIET Jodhpur B.Tech Selection Criteria

JIET Jodhpur M.Tech Admission 2024

JIET Jodhpur offers a Master of Technology (M.Tech) program at the postgraduate level. The M.Tech program is offered under four different specialization subjects. To be considered eligible for the M.Tech program, a candidate needs to hold a B.Tech./ B.E. or equivalent degree in concerned branch with minimum 50% aggregate from any recognized University.

The eligibility criteria for the M.Tech program is as follows:

• Passed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant field.
• A minimum of 50% aggregate marks is mandatory for admission (45% in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.

JIET Jodhpur M.Tech Selection Criteria

• The admissions are made strictly as per the guidelines of CAM (Centralized Admissions in M.Tech.), Rajasthan Technical University.

JIET Jodhpur PhD Admission 2024

At the doctoral level, JIET Jodhpur conducts research programs that lead to award PhD degree (Doctor of Philosophy). The PhD programs are offered under three different specializations of Engineering. The doctoral programs require at least three to five years to complete the duration period. To be considered eligible for the doctoral program, a candidate must hold a Master’s degree in the relevant branch of Engineering.

The candidates meeting the eligibility criteria are required to sit for the Ph.D. entrance test, based on which the seats are allotted for the Ph.D program. Final selection will be based on the performance in the personal interview round which will be conducted at JIET jodhpur.

The candidates who qualify the UGC-NET (Including JRF) UGC-CSIR NET (Including JRF) SLET/ GATE/GPAT with a valid score or teacher fellowship holder or M.Phil degree holder shall be exempted from appearing in the entrance test.

JIET Jodhpur PhD Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the Engineering and Management streams in PhD is as follows:

• Master's degree in the appropriate discipline of any recognized University/Institute or equivalent, with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate (of all the years/ semesters) where marks are awarded or minimum equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) as defined by AICTE/UGC or any other competent body as the case may be.
