JSS Academy of Technical Education (JSSATE)

 
JSS Academy of Technical Education was established in the year 1997 at Bengaluru and is under the umbrella of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysuru. JSSATE is the result of the vision of its President, His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji to proactively participate in establishing a world class Institution for Technical Education.

 
The JSSATE iCampus is spread on a sprawling 21.17 acres land surrounded by lush green plantation on the South-Western edge of Bengaluru City.  JSSATE Campus is located in Uttarahalli Kengeri Main Road, Bangalore, Karnataka.

 
JSS Academy of Technical Education is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi and Recognized by Govt. of Karnataka.  The Institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.  Six UG programs are accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi.  JSSATE is recognized under 2(f) of the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi.  It has been ranked by NIRF at 55 among the top universities in India in 2019. 

 
At present JSSATE, Bengaluru has 8 UG and 3 PG programs in Engineering along with Business Administration (MBA) and Computer Applications (MCA).  Research programs are offered in10 areas leading to Ph.D and M.Sc Engineering.  All the departments have been recognized as “Research Centres” from VTU, Belagavi.  More than 120 candidates are pursuing research programs at JSSATE, Bengaluru.  The college has over 3000 students pursuing their studies.  Admissions for B.E. regular, lateral entry, M.Tech., MCA and MBA are done based on the marks obtained by the candidates in entrance exams like KCET, DCET, JEE, COMEDK, GATE, and PGCET respectively.  All these KCET, DCET, and PGCET examinations are conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).  Candidates wishing to study a course in JSSATE must enroll for the respective entrance exams pertaining to the desired course they wish to study.  Based on the scores obtained by the candidates in the entrance exams, they can be admitted to the JSSATE Bangalore.

 
JSSATE, Bengaluru has an excellent infrastructure with the state-of-the art equipment and machinery. The entire college has Wi-Fi facility.  The Institute has qualified faculty having specializations in different domains of Science, Engineering, Technology and Management. The Institute has initiated a number of multidisciplinary and multi-institutional R&D programs with AICTE, DST and other Departments. The Institute has a centralized Library with open access facility for students. The Institute Digital library has online access to International journals. Book bank facility is available for EWS students.

JSSATE Bengaluru Admission Process

JSSATE Bangalore Admissions 2024: Admissions are provided to the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses of the institute. For JSS Academy of Technical Education, Bangalore admissions, candidates must qualify in an entrance test followed by a counselling round. JSSATE UG admissions to the BE degree courses are done based on the scores of the COMEDK UGET and KCET followed by the COMEDK/ KCET counselling round. As for JSSATE PG admissions a valid scorecard of the Karnataka PGCET or GATE is required followed by the PGCET counselling round. And lastly, JSSATE doctoral admissions are provided after a personal interview of shortlisted candidates through VTU-ETR written test. Candidates must meet the JSSATE eligibility criteria for the courses.

JSS Academy of Technical Education Applications Process
Candidates have to register through the admissions portal on the institute’s website,
Candidates then have to fill up the application form with correct details,
A self attested copy of documents is to be submitted along with the application form,
Lastly, candidates have to pay the application fee to complete the registration process.

JSSATE Bangalore BE Admissions Process
Candidates must appear for COMEDK UGET/ KCET and obtain a decent score,
JSSATE cutoffs will be released after the results of entrance exams are announced,
Candidates who have acquired the required cutoff percentile may proceed with the COMEDK UGET counselling round,
Candidates have to select JSS Academy of Technical Education as their preferred college during the choice fillings,
Seats will be allotted to the candidates based on the choice fillings and scores of the entrance exam,
Candidates have to verify their documents at JSSATE Bangalore campus and pay the course fees.

TRANSPORT

JSS Academy of Technical Education is situated in serene location at about 12 KM from main city center. It takes about an hour to reach the college in normal traffic condition.

At present, the institute is operating buses in three routes to provide transportation services for both students and staff from different parts of the city. Buses are hired on annual contract basis from M/s. Sathyasai Tourists. The institute is located on Banashakari - Kengeri main road. Plenty of BMTC buses are plying via college to important places like Banashankari, Konanakunte Metro station, Electronics City, Kengeri, Majestic, Jayanagar, etc. Some of the major BMTC transit lines have routes that pass near our college are 375 (from Banashankari to Kengeri), 375D (from Banashankari to Kengeri), 378 (from Electronics city to Kengeri).
