Established in 1997, the college functions under the aegis of the JSS Mahavidyapeetha Trust, Mysuru, which was founded by Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara. The institute was established with the goal of providing quality education in engineering, technology, and management while promoting research, innovation, and professional excellence.

The institute is situated at JSSATE-B Campus, Uttarahalli–Kengeri Main Road, near Rajarajeshwari Nagar in Bengaluru, Karnataka. JSSATEB is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). JSS Academy Bangalore courses are offered at UG, PG level. There are 21 courses offered at JSS Academy Bangalore. Admission Process & Eligibility

For Undergraduate (B.E.)

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
• Admission through entrance exams like KCET, COMEDK UGET, or JEE Main
• Seat allocation through counseling conducted by respective authorities

For Postgraduate (M.Tech / MBA / MCA)

• Must hold a relevant bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
• Admission through GATE or Karnataka PGCET
• MBA may also consider national-level entrance exams

For Ph.D. Programs

• Master’s degree in relevant discipline
• Selection based on entrance test and interview as per VTU norms

Transport

JSS Academy of Technical Education is situated in serene location at about 12 KM from main city center. It takes about an hour to reach the college in normal traffic condition.At present, the institute is operating buses in three routes to provide transportation services for both students and staff from different parts of the city. Buses are hired on annual contract basis from M/s. Sathyasai Tourists. The institute is located on Banashakari - Kengeri main road. Plenty of BMTC buses are plying via college to important places like Banashankari, Konanakunte Metro station, Electronics City, Kengeri, Majestic, Jayanagar, etc. Some of the major BMTC transit lines have routes that pass near our college are 375 (from Banashankari to Kengeri), 375D (from Banashankari to Kengeri), 378 (from Electronics city to Kengeri).
