Facilities Offered @ Jyothy Institute of Commerce and Management, Bengaluru

The library has adopted Open Access System. Documents are classified as per International Classification System ‘Dewey Decimal Classification’. Library has good collection of books covering all the Commerce and Management subjects. Reference section covers with latest year books, Bibliographies, Dictionaries, Directories and Handbook. General knowledge books are also supported with other books which are helpful to prepare for the competitive exams/personal development activities. Students can borrow 2 no’s of book at a time and return after 15 days if necessary the same book could be renewed for another 15 days. Apart from Books CDs, Journals, previous exam Question papers could also be borrowed. Books from reference section could be browsed in library and if essential those books could be issued for overnight, one hour before closing of the library on all days. All students and faculty members of the college are entitled to make use of the library facilities through membership and can accommodate 150 users at a time. The library is built on an area of 400 Sq. feet and is well-ventilated and furnished.

In line we aim to provide student services that contribute to student success and achievement, the college is serious about providing best possible facilities to the students and faculty members as well.JICM has a very rich tradition in sports and efforts are constantly on to better ourselves to achieve excellence in sports. A number of intra college events are conducted throughout the year and college teams are sent for all intercollegiate tournaments.Awards of excellence are given to the students outstanding in sports.Our cafeterias offer a variety of delectable options, from quick bites to hearty meals, prepared with the freshest ingredients and served with a smile. Hostel

Our hostel facilities cater to the comfort and convenience of our students, ensuring a home away from home experience. The boys’ hostel boasts 67 spacious rooms and 32 well-maintained restrooms, accommodating a total of 254 students. Similarly, the girls’ hostel offers 18 rooms and 18 restrooms, with a capacity of 72 students. In addition to student accommodation, we provide three guest rooms for visitors.

Students can unwind in our TV room or engage in recreational activities with our indoor and outdoor sports items. Our modern kitchen and well-stocked stores ensure nutritious and delicious meals are served in our dining hall, which can accommodate up to 100 guests. For smaller gatherings, our guest dining hall comfortably seats 25 individuals.

Safety is paramount in our hostel, with fire extinguishers strategically placed throughout the premises, along with 13 CCTV cameras for enhanced security. We prioritize student comfort with four geysers providing hot water and four solar units contributing to sustainable energy consumption. Additionally, two heat pumps and an RO plant further enhance our commitment to providing top-notch amenities.
