Admission Procedure

KCG College of Technology offers BE in 11 specialisations, and BTech in 3 specialisations for 2025. Admissions are granted based on the candidate’s TNEA scores. Based on merit, candidates will be called for counselling. TNEA Counselling Fees 2025 is INR 500 for OC/BC/BCM/MBC & DNC category candidates, and INR 250 for SC/SCA/ST category candidates.

Admission Process

Admission to the programme is completely based on the merit scores achieved by the students in their last academics or accepted exam. Candidates who are selected for admission need to pay a total tuition fee of INR 2,00,000 for B.E. / B.Tech admission. Additionally, students must meet the below eligibility criteria for admission:

Eligibility

Should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of Vocational stream (Vocational groups in Engineering / Technology) as prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

M.E  - 2 Year Course

Admission Process

K C G College of Technology, Chennai offers 2 years M.E, MBA/PGDM programme at the PG level. The selection for MBA/PGDM is based on a valid score in TANCET. Additionally, candidates who seek admission to this course must ensure that they fulfil the below eligibility criteria:

Placement and Training Cell at KCG College of Technology is Part of Industry Partnership & Corporate Affairs. This Cell functions with dedicative team who are exclusively working 24 * 7 to guide the engineering graduates for achieving 100% Campus Placements. The library is an integral part of the intellectual power of our college. Library has an area of 11000 sq.ft and seating capacity for about 170 readers. At present, the library houses a collection of above 47041 books, 905 back volumes, 3185 project reports, previous year question papers and more than 1962 multimedia packages like CD’s and DVD’s. The library subscribes to 102 National Journals, 30 Magazines and 5 newspapers.Fitness to achieve and keep healthy body and weight for reducing stress, anxiety and depression which helps improving self confidence of the students

KCG TRANSPORT FACILITY

KCG makes student commuting, both within and outside the institution, as comfortable and convenient as possible. The Institute’s buses transport students from all locations in and around Chennai. This enables day scholars to arrive on time.

In order to enhance the requirements of public transportation, KCG adheres to the following important characteristics:

1. EVERYONE’S SAFETY IS GUARANTEED:

While travelling on our transportation, KCG provides the highest level of safety. Each bus has a faculty member in charge of guaranteeing the safety of students to the greatest extent possible. With the technological mechanisms in place, all buses are tracked during the journey, thus providing parents a stress-free experience. All our drivers possess heavy motor vehicle licence.

2. OBSERVING GOOD HYGIENE GUIDELINES:

Standard SOP’s in general and in particular during COVID 19 period are strictly followed.

3. MAINTENANCE SERVICES THAT ARE APPROPRIATE:

Our transportation service is constantly examined and maintained on a weekly basis. The safety and repair of the KCG arranged transportation facilities are supervised by a separate team. The vehicle compliance rule under the government order is also followed well by the institute, which provides all the legal documentation.
