Admission Procedure

The TNEA 2025 is the centralized counselling process conducted for admissions to undergraduate engineering programs (B.E./B.Tech) in Tamil Nadu. Unlike other states, there is no separate entrance exam for TNEA. Admissions are solely based on candidates’ Class 12 marks.

Admission Process

Admission to the programme is completely based on the merit scores achieved by the students in their last academics or accepted exam. Candidates who are selected for admission need to pay a total tuition fee of INR 2,00,000 for B.E. / B.Tech admission. Additionally, students must meet the below eligibility criteria for admission:

Eligibility

The General category candidate should have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with a minimum aggregate marks of 45%, and the Reserved category candidate should have secured 40%.

The KSKCET Library was established on the year 2011; our institution encourages all the Students & Staff members to make the best use of library. Our Library was built up area of 411sq.m, Accommodating collections of specialized books, Journals & Non-book materials related to Science & Humanities, Engineering & Technology and General knowledge. The Central Library is replete with 11423 Volumes of 2249 Title of Books, 584 CDs. The Central Library Subscribes to 30 National Journals, 30 International Journals

A variety of hygienic food & Snack items which includes Cakes, Fresh Juices, Chinese Food, Meals, Variety Rice, Ice Creams, etc are served at a nominal rate. It is mainly used by the students and staff. Separate common rooms for boys and girls and staff are available.The college has provided extensive playing fields and courts for all sports like Basketball, Ball Badminton, Cricket, Kabaddi, Kho – Kho, Tennis, Volleyball and Athletics. Among which The Tennis and Basketball courts are having well tended synthetic flooring. An Indoor stadium is also available for Badminton, Table Tennis, Carrom and Chess. The individual / martial sport like Boxing, Judo, Taekwondo and silambam are also encouraged in our campus. Apart from these facilities ample sports materials, commendable guidance, motivation and coaching are given by the Director of Physical Education towards participation in various Inter collegiate, Inter Zonal, State and National level tournaments in a splendid manner.

The College has its own fleet of buses for students and staff. It is provided to ply from various places surrounding 50 K.M to kumbakonam.
