Kalaimahal college of arts and science was begun in the year 2009 by our honorific correspondent Ln.Dr.K.Nedunchezian, an aspiration invincible leader, an embodiment of long have hard work and a philanthropist, well-known for his selfless services. In the begining four under graduation courses and a post-graduation course in English were begun in 2012 under self-financing scheme. In later years post-graduation courses in commerce, computer science, mathematics and Tamil had been included along with the other courses.

. The college has produced 100% of result in the university examination in all the consecutive years. Now the college is being run with 12 under graduation and 5 post graduation courses in various disciplines. The college has gained immense popularity among the people and able to compete with other colleges in the surrounding.

The placement cell plays a crucial role in locating job opportunities for undergraduates passing out from the college by keeping in touch with reputed firms and industrial establishments.
