The Tuticorin Education Society is a non-profit, registered society established in the year 1966 by Thiru. A.M.M.S. Ganesan Nadar, in association with Karapettai Hindu Nadar Sangam, a leading Hindu Charitable Organization in Thoothukudi.
Thiru. A.M.M.S. Ganesan Nadar, Managing Director of the Tuticorin Spinning Mills, served as the founder Patron of the Society, and was instrumental in the development of the College
Apart from Kamaraj College, the Society runs two other educational institutions on its lush green 50-acre campus. Kamaraj Women’s College, an Arts and Science Institution dedicated for women, and Kamaraj School, a much sought-after English-medium Matriculation school.
Together, the campus houses over 5000 students, as of AY 2022-23, making it one of the largest such campuses in southern Tamil Nadu.
Most of the students are from a rural background and come from govt and govt-aided schools, fulfilling the society’s objective of providing service to the community.
Kamaraj College and Kamaraj Women’s College are affiliated to Manonmanium Sundarnar University, Tirunelveli. Bharat Ratna Kamarajar Matriculation Higher Secondary School, or Kamaraj School, in short, is accredited by the Directorate of Matriculation Schools, Govt. of Tamil Nadu.

Kamaraj College has long been recognized as a premier institution of higher learning for students in the southern districts of Tamilnadu. A center for academic excellence and achievement, it is today one of the finest institutions for Arts, Science, and Commerce programs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions: Minimum fees for any course in our college. Any course students in scholarship must in college scholarships in 1500 rupees in yearly once. 3 years 5000 rupees scholarship. placements are also there in the college, TMB bank, TCS IT jobs, Our district works anything.

Placement Experience: In these placements, college invites several companies to their campuses to recruit students studying in that college. After analyzing different skills being taught by the college and the CV, company sets some criteria to qualify in several rounds and finally get a job in that company. Students who fulfil all the criteria and qualify in each and every round get selected.
