About

Karpagam Academy of Higher Education (KAHE), Coimbatore, is a deemed university established in the year 2008 under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 with the approval of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.  The Founder Dr. R. Vasanthakumar, Philanthropist, Industrialist, Entrepreneur and Culture promoter is also the President of Karpagam Charity Trust (KCT).  Karpagam Academy of Higher Education was founded with the mission to impart value based and holistic education that enriches the knowledge and skills of students and empowering their lives by way of educating.

The KAHE university campus is spread over 26 acres of vast land, located on the Salem – Kochi Highway, Pollachi Main Road, L & T By Pass Road Junction, Eachanari Post, Eachanari, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.  The campus is at a distance of 19 km from Irugur Junction and 24 km from TNSTC Bus Depot.

The Institute is Approved by UGC, New Delhi and the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, UGC-AICTE, New Delhi, Council of Architecture, New Delhi, Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi and Accredited with A+ Grade by NAAC in the Second cycle

Admission Procedure

Admission to Karpagam Academy of Higher Education is only available in an online mode. So, applicants must look for the admission form on the website of the college. Additionally, they must fill out and submit the online application form to be eligible for admission. After that, they must complete entrance tests given at the discretion of the institution. The admission requirements are merit-based as well being based on entrance courses. In addition, the requirements for each course will be listed on the website of the college.

Admission Criteria

BE, B. Arch Admission

The college offers B. Tech, B.E. and B. Arch programmes. The duration of B. Tech and B.E. programme is 4 years and B. Arch programme is 5 Years.

BA Hons., B. Sc., BBA, B. Com, BCA, B. Pharm, B. Des Admissions 

The duration of these courses is 3 Years. The duration of B. Pharm and B. Des is 4 years.

M.Sc, MBA, M. Com, MCA, M.Pharm and M. Plan Admissions

The University offers M.Sc, MBA, M. Com, MCA, M. Pharm and M. Plan programme. The duration of M.Sc., MBA, M. Com, M. Pharm and M. Plan is 2 years.

Pharm D, Ph.D. Admissions

The University offers Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm D.) and Ph.D. programme to students. The duration of Pharm D is 6 years and Ph.D. is 3 years.
