Karpagam Faculty of Medical Sciences & Research, Coimbatore, founded in 2012, is a trust-run private medical college. The college is also known as Karpagam Medical College.

 
The Karpagam Faculty of Medical Sciences and Research is located on Pollachi Main Road, Coimbatore.  It is a State-of- the art college with a huge 28.1 acre campus having hostel facility within the perimeter. The Gandhipuram Bus Terminus is 23 kms from the college and can be reached within 50 minutes via NH83.   Coimbatore Railway Station is one of the major Rail Junction in India and is 21 kms away and can be reached in 45 minutes via NH948.  Coimbatore International Airport is located 30 km from the Medical College is an hour’s drive.

 
KFMS is affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, ChennaiThe college is recognised by National Medical Council (NMC). Counselling Conducted Authority is the Directorate of Medical Education, Tamil Nadu.

 
Karpagam Faculty of Medical Sciences & Research, Coimbatore offers 150 MBBS seats along with courses under specialisation and super specialisation such as Social and Preventive Medicine, Microbiology, Pathology, etc.  It also offers 10 Post Graduate Courses.  Entrance Exam for admissions is NEET UG entrance exam conducted by NTA for MBBS and NEET PG for Post graduate courses

Admission Process:

Admission to Diploma(DIP),Doctor of Medicine(MD), Master of Surgery(MS) available in Karpagam Medical College Coimbatore are based on the NEET PG score from NBE . Doctors can take admission through All India Counselling (50% of MD/MS seats) or through Tamil Nadu state level counselling (50% MD/MS Seats).

• Placements: 150 students were placed from our college. The highest salary offered was INR 1,50,000, the lowest salary offered was INR 60,0000 and the average salary offered was INR 80,000. To get in NEET PG, MD/MS degree or passing in any All India exams is the admission criteria.
