Karpagam Institute of Technology (KIT), one of the branches of Karpagam Institutions (KI’s), is a premier Institute established in 2007. It is one of the top Engineering colleges in Coimbatore founded by a far-sighted educationist, Dr. R. Vasantha Kumar, who with a noble aim, wanted to make higher education in Engineering and Technology accessible to everyone. Karpagam Institute of Technology is located in 14 acres of land near L&T Bypass road, Bodipalayam Post, Salem - Kochi Highway 47, (near Eachnari), Seerapalayam, Tamil Nadu.  

KIT is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and is approved by AICTE, UGC.  The institute is accredited by NAAC, ISO NBA and ranked under NIRF.

The Institute offers UG Degree courses in Full Time mode. It is a well-known institution for B.E. and B.Tech courses with an annual intake of 420 seats.  The eligibility for admission is on the basis of counseling through TNEA.

Admission Process:

Admission to Karpagam Academy of Higher Education courses is based on either merit or the results of several entrance tests. Karpagam Academy of Higher Education in Coimbatore is a deemed university that was established in 2008. It is NAAC-accredited and authorized by UGC-AICTE, MHRD, PCI, and COA.

The College also hosts a variety of sporting events on our campus. Students make great use of the campus’s indoor and outdoor game facilities both during and after class hours. Every year, the college organizes KIT TROPY and welcomes participation from numerous colleges.

Basketball, Cricket, Hockey, Volleyball, Ball Badminton, and Kabbadi are some of the outdoor game activities. Weight lifting, table tennis, shuttle, carrom, chess, and other indoor games are available.
