Admission Procedure

To be eligible for B.Sc. Nursing at Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College (KGNC), candidates must be at least 17 years old, have passed the 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB), and achieve a minimum of 45% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates).

Admission Process

After the entrance test results, a counselling or seat allotment process is conducted. For B.Sc Nursing, half of the seats may be through government counselling (e.g. via CENTAC) and the other half via management/institute category.

Successful candidates must submit required documents (marksheets, registration certificates etc.), verify them, and undergo medical fitness checks.

Eligiblity

• Must be at least 17 years old on or before 31 December of admission year. 

• Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Botany & Zoology), and English. 

• Minimum aggregate marks usually 45% for general category. SC/ST may get a relaxation (often 5%).
