Admission Procedure

The institute offers BE and B.Tech at UG level in 5 specializations. The minimum requirement for both courses is 50% marks in 10+2. Those who are willing to apply are granted admission based on the performance in the qualifying exam. However, the final seat allotment is based on the TNEA Counselling.Kathir College of Engineering also provides admission in ME and MBA at PG level. Interested candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree to apply in any of the courses. Admission is offered based on the TANCET score and TANCA Counselling.

Admission Process

The admission will be done through counselling process conducted by the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA). Eligible candidates can apply through the official TNEA website and the expected date for the announcement of rank list is June 22.

Eligibility

• Passed Physics, Chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects at 10+2 level with 50% aggregate marks

M.E / M.B.A - 2 Year Course

Admission Process

The college offers 4 specialization in M.E viz Applied Electronics, Computer Science & Engineering, Power Electronics & Drives and Manufacturing Engineering.While, there are 4 specializations under MBA namely Human Resource Management, Finance, Marketing, Systems and Operations.

• To apply for admission, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline from a recognized institution or university.

A library is the heart of an academic institution. Our institution encourages all students and staff members to make the best use of the library that has been carefully built up since the inception of the college. The library is housed in a spacious area of 625 sq.m., fully computerized and air-conditioned with Reference Section, Magazine Section and Stack Area. Presently there are 17,000 books and reference volumes and numerous magazines in all relevant streams of engineering and management, stacked for the benefit of staff and students. There is an established media resource centre.Visualizations of a modern concept of cafeteria, which caters to the students taste with a snack bar attached which provides a variety of healthy Breakfast, mini-lunch, snacks and juices is maintained at subsidized rate.

Every form of sports are encouraged , the necessary practice and training are imparted for promising students who are interested in sports by our own department of physical education.Practicing areas and grounds for the respective sports have been formed and has been maintained impeccably. Additionally, various forms of indoor games and the necessary space has been allocated and maintained.

Hostel

Separate hostels for boys and girls is provided on campus with excellent security measures, 24 hours power supply, fully furnished comfortable rooms for the students, separate gym, fresh, healthy and nutritious food provided by our own mess.The campus has strong Wi-Fi connectivity.
