The Kaypeeyes College of Arts and Science is a Christian co-educational College run by the B.A.M.E Trust which has made its name in the field of education and runs the Kaypeeyes group of Institutions in Tamilnadu. It was established on 1st August 2007, with the noble vision of creating an egalitarian society. The Kaypeeyes college is situated at an Altitude of 6500 M.S.L. in a spacious campus overlooking the Mettupalayam Valley with a glorious view, surrounded by blue mountains and lush green tea gardens.

The College is affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. The need based education imparted in the college focuses on developing a holistic outlook of life, along with discipline. The college now offers ten undergraduate courses and two postgraduate courses.

In the marvelous growth of the college God has guided and blessed us immensely. With the faith in divine guidance and co-operation from the public, it is hoped that the college with grow further into a fruitful center of learning.

To help create a more tolerant egalitarian society by creating in the youth of today a sense of responsibility, love, care and concern, to make the younger gerneration channels of blessing, compassionate human beings, and pathfinders for the future.
The mission is to inculcate in the students who pass through the portals of our college a spirit of adventure, a commitment to their tasks, a sense of discipline and motivation to reach for higher goals, so that they may leave the world a better place for future generations to enjoy.

Eligibility of Admission:A pass in standard XII with minimum marks subject to the conditions laid down by Bharathiar University
At the time of admission, the student should submit the following original certificates.
a. Marks Sheet ( X and XII)
b. Transfer Certificate
c. Conduct Certificate
d. Community Certificate (if Applicable)
e. Migration Certificate (if Applicable)
f. Eligibility Certificate (if Applicable)
Students are expected to attend all lectures, classes and complete tests and submit written work as required by the lectures and tutors.
The college reserves the right to expel a student if he/she does not fulfil the above requirements or for behavior, disruptive to the general conduct of the college.
In the event of withdrawal of a student for whatever reason, the following will apply.
a. Application for withdrawal must be made in writing.
b. The deposit is not refundable.
c. Where an application of withdrawal is received after the commencement of the course, there will be no refund.
All courses are Kaypeeyes Colleges are full-time.
All changes of address must be immediately notifies in writing to the admission office.
All applicants and students will be subject to the conditions stated herein and regulations provided in the students manual
False information on the application form may render the student liable to expulsion.

Placement cell
Kaypeeyes College of Arts and Science Placement and Training Cell have moved from strength to strength and our college has emerged as a campus to recruit the fresh talent nurtured. In the journey towards excellence, many milestones were also set by the Department of Placements in terms of "Quality and Quantity ". The excellent infrastructure facilitates different activities of placement like pre-placement training, and talks. The consistent placement record illustrates the commitment of the college towards the growth and development of the students. Regular campus interviews are conducted every year. Students have no trouble finding coveted positions in reputed corporate and business houses that visit the campus every year, offering an excellent salary package on par.

Our Campus recruitment program starts by the beginning of the Pre-Final semester.

Scholarship
The Scholarship committee is sole responsible for extending all help to the students to receive various scholarships.
It include

1. Govt Scholarship - Minority scholarship, SC/ST scholarship, Scholarship eligible for farmers children. Tea board scholarship
2. Non Government scholarship, It include scholarship given by private NGO's and other organisation, like Rotary club and welfare associations.
3. MAWA scholarship - 15000/- year, ICWS : for each student under destitute category
For the requirement of scholarship the college proved all documentary reports without any delay for the students enrolled in the college.

HOSTEL
Our college facilitate students an excellent hostel facility to feel home away from home. The Institution has hostel facility for boys and girls in individual blocks. The men and women hostels have their own mess, where the students are offered a choice of both vegetarian and non vegetarian food.

LIBRARY
The Library is the main source of knowledge. Herein students are encouraged to develop their knowledge by reading updated resources The Library has a stock of more than 6000+ books on various subjects and it also subscribes and it also subscribes to various magazines and journals both national and international. For the benefit of students, the library also keeps a stock of previous year's examination question papers.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION
The department of Physical Education organizes various games and sports activities all the year round for the students. The students are trained to compete in the inter-collegiate and district level sports events.
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a programme organised by the Ministry of Education and Youth Services of the Government of India to offer opportunities and training in service to the community and the nation for students with an aptitude. It is intended to involve the college students in a variety of social service and developmental activities concomitantly with the normal academic programme. The motto of the scheme is “Education through Community Service” A variety of service programmes like adult education, community welfare, social awareness, socioeconomic survey, etc. are available. certificate will be issued to deserving volunteers at the completion of their two year term. volunteers are expected to participate in all the training programmes and work camps organized from time to time.

Students’ Grievance Cell
The function of the cell is to look into the complaints lodged by any student. The Grievance cell is also empowered to look into matters of harassment. Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the department members in person, or in consultation with the officer in-charge in Students’ Grievance Cell. In case the person is unwilling to appear in self, grievances may be dropped in writing at the letterbox/ suggestion box of the Grievance Cell at Block I.

Objective:
The objective of the Grievance Cell is to develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all the stakeholders in order to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the institute.
A Grievance Cell should be constituted for the redresses of the problems reported by the Students of the College with the following objectives:
Upholding the dignity of the College by ensuring strife-free atmosphere in the College through promoting cordial Student-Student relationship and Student-Teacher relationship etc.
Encouraging the Students to express their grievances / problems freely and franklywithout any fear of being victimized.
Suggestion / complaint Box is installed in front of the Administrative Block in which the Students, who want to remain anonymous, put in writing their grievances and their suggestions for improving the Academics / Administration in the College.
Advising Students of the College to respect the right and dignity of one another and show utmost restraint and patience whenever any occasion of rift arises.
Advising All the Students to refrain from inciting Students against other Students, teachers and College administration.
Advising all staffs to be affectionate to the Students and not to behave in a vindictive manner towards any of them for any reason.
Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited in and outside the institution. Any violation of ragging and disciplinary rules should be urgently brought to the notice of the Principal.

Scope :
The cell will deal with Grievances received in writing from the students about any of the following matters:-
Academic Matters: Related to timely issue of duplicate Mark-sheets, Transfer Certificates, Conduct Certificates or other examination related matters.
Financial Matters: Related to dues and payments for various items from library, hostels etc.
Other Matters: Related to certain misgivings about conditions of sanitation, preparation of food, availability of transport, victimization by teachers etc.

Functions :
The cases will be attended promptly on receipt of written grievances from the students
The cell formally will review all cases and will act accordingly as per the Management policy
The cell will give report to the authority about the cases attended to and the number of pending cases, if any, which require direction and guidance from the higher authorities.

The Department of Food Science and Nutrition has fully equipped chemistry, biochemistry and food science laboratories;

Computer LAB Services
Computer lab is equipped with network routers, switches and hubs as well as a number of Windows and Linux computers All machines in the laboratory are Pentium based and connected over LAN AND N-computing. Machines have various PC software, application packages, windows software etc. The laboratory provides 5 mbps Internet and multimedia Facilities.
STUDENT CHRISTIAN MOVEMENT
As part of Spiritual growth the student Christian Movement organizes a lot of programmes every Wednesday, such as skits, devotion, Solving day to day problems and choir. It provides Christian values to the Christian students and moral values to the non Christian students of the college. The principal is the patron of this movement. It has a Staff Advisor, a secretary and student representatives from each class. The activities are:

Contribution to destitute and orphans.
