Khandesh College Education Society’s roots go back to 1944 when eminent personalities of the region wanted to establish an educational facility right in Jalgaon district. The establishment and running of various institutions of Khandesh College Education Society was only possible with zealous and ardent efforts of Late Dr. G.D. Bendale, an eminent surgeon of this region. It was his fervor and commitment that has made Khandesh College Education Society as what we see today. His vision of things was unparalleled and so was his practical and hands-off approach, which helped the next generation of equally capable leadership to develop at Khandesh College Education Society. Khandesh College Education Society continues to offer broad-based and student oriented courses ranging from Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Management, Law, Education, Physical Education, Geoinformatics, Animation,Multimedia etc.

The Khandesh College Education (KCE) Society established the College of Engineering and Management in the year 2001 with the objective to provide quality technical education in the unindustrialised area of the North Maharashtra region. KCE Society has a historic and philosophical background of more.

KCE Society's College of Engineering and Management is one of the most distinguished, Maharashtra based and NAAC accredited leading private college which came into existence in 2001 under the aegis of Khandesh College Education Society and offers 2 Undergraduate, 1 Postgraduate and 1 Diploma courses in the discipline of Vocational Studies, Engineering, Technology, Management and many more. The college is affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University of Maharashtra, Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education and Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University of Jalgaon and approved by AICTE, New Delhi followed by Govt. of Maharashtra and University Grants Commission. KCE Society's College of Engineering and Management Admission

The admission process of KCE Society's College of Engineering and Management takes place in an online mode and while 80% seats are filled through the centralized admission process, on 20% of seats, students are admitted at the institute level. Also, the whole admission procedure is as per the guidelines and standards defined by the DTE. Given below are the step-by-step details for the same.

Procedure for Centralized Admission

80 % seats of the sanctioned intake are admitted through the centralized process, while the remaining 20 % are admitted at Institute level.

Procedure for Institute Level Admission:

Eligibility: Same as the Centralized Admission

• The candidates must possess a valid CAP Merit number.

• The aspiring candidates must separately apply to the Institute for admission under this quota.

• The institute brochures containing the admission form can be bought by the candidate from the institute.

• A Separate merit list of the candidates who have applied through the Institute Quota would be prepared based on the CAP merit numbers of the candidates. This Merit list would be displayed on our institute notice board.

• Candidates must keep checking the institute notice board for details regularly.

• Admission to the eligible candidates would be done strictly as per the merit only, after verification of the documents.

KCE Society's College of Engineering and Management Placement

There is a dedicated Training and Placement Cell at KCE Society's College of Engineering and Management for the purpose of training students as per industry standards and requirements and maintaining good relations with leading companies. Also, this cell organizes various kinds of personality development sessions, language and communication classes, debate, group discussion, essay writing competition and presentations from time to time to enhance the confidence and reading, writing and communication skills of students and inculcate new demanding skills in them. Along with all this, placement specific training programs are held in college for MBA, M.Tech as well as Undergraduate students so that they can be taught how to crack different rounds during the actual interview process. Last but not the least, T&P Cell helps and assists students for summer and winter internships so that they can learn about actual working of companies and to ensure all this happens seamlessly, the college has signed MOUs with 50 companies who are working in different domains of Engineering. The cell also helps students to get good jobs in public sector companies, armed forces and government enterprises by organizing guest lectures on a regular basis in collaboration with experts and industry leaders. Facilities

Mess Facility:
The Mess facility is provided by the hostel. The separate mess hall, well equipped dining hall is available for the students.The mess is run by the contract or society. The medical officer of the college regularly inspects the meal for its quality.


   
Note:
• Cooking is not allowed in the room. Outside eatables are not allowed in the room.
• Non-veg food is not allowed in the hostel.
• Every student has to pay the mess bill to the contractor or Hostel office.

Health Care Center:
K.C.E. Society has appointed a medical officer to check the health of the students. The students must report about any case of illness / sickness or accident of roommate immediately to the hostel authorities and medical officer.

Every student can get free medical consultation by the medical officer of K.C.E. Society.


Security :
The security guard are appointed to control the outsiders as well as the unnecessary movements of the students. Security guards and students follow all the timely instructions given by the rector. No misbehaviour in the hostel is entertained.


Yoga and Meditation :
Soham Department of Yoga and naturopathy runs ‘Yoga and meditation programs’ in the KCE society premises. Special Concession in the fees is provided for the hostilities.


Internet Facility :
The hostel has its own Internet Lab which helps all students to carry out their project, research and other assignment wok.

Computer Center:
Computers and Internet revolution has changed the way education has been. Use of Computer based Softwares and Hardware as a means to facilitate and fasten the Engineering Technology have grown rapidly. We at COEM understand this requirement and have availed with best of computing facilities for all of our students and faculty members.
