Admission Process

• Candidates must appear for and qualify NEET-UG, which is the mandatory entrance examination for MBBS admission at Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS).
• Candidates must have passed 10+2/PUC with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and satisfy the prescribed minimum marks and age requirements.
• NEET-qualified candidates must participate in the applicable Karnataka NEET-UG counselling conducted by KEA and complete registration and choice filling.
• Seats are allotted based on NEET merit/rank, category, choices filled and seat availability. Selected candidates must complete document verification and submit the required documents.

• Candidates must have passed 10+2/PUC or an equivalent examination from a recognised board.
• The qualifying examination must include Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as the required subjects.
• Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks in PCB subjects as prescribed by the applicable NMC/NEET-UG regulations.
• Candidates must qualify NEET-UG and obtain the required qualifying percentile/score for MBBS admission.

MD / MS 

Admission Process

• Candidates must have completed an MBBS degree from a recognised medical college and meet the prescribed postgraduate admission requirements.
