Management
Crossland College is jointly sponsored and managed by the Priority One India Trust and the Priority Educational Foundation, non-profitable Christian minority charitable Trusts working for the total welfare of the people of India. The India Theological Seminary which offers diploma and degree programmes in Bible studies, the Little Rock Indian School, an English medium School with CBSE Syllabus and the Heidi Home, a home for less privileged are also managed by these Trusts.

Objectives
To provide quality higher educational opportunities to young men and women in and around Brahmavar and also to the youth all over India.

To provide University Education that will build up national unity and international understanding.

To give opportunity to the financially underprivileged youth for quality University Education by giving work on campus to earn money for their education.

Ethos of the College
Our founder, Late Dr. C. T. Abraham believed very firmly that love can transform the lives of others. The message of love is manifested in whatever he had initiated in the campus. Crossland College is a family and to synchronise with the family concept of our Founder an atmosphere of love and mutual trust prevails in the Campus.

Special Features
Innovative Time Schedule : Degree classes are held from 8.30 a.m. to 3 p.m. College office and library work from 8 a.m. to 5.35 p.m. The Special timings enable the students to join any of the certificate courses offered by the college, Degree/Certificate courses offered by the Seminary in the campus or other useful courses.
Academic Performance : The excellent results every year testify the excellent teaching, learning practices. The College has produced 13 Gold Medallists 39 ranks so far in the university examinations. The high percentage of student progression to higher studies and employment speak volumes for our concerted efforts. Student-cantered teaching methods such as class seminars, group discussions, debates, case studies and mock interviews are conducted.

Mission

The Motto
“Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom”, is the motto of the college. In a nutshell, it highlights the philosophy and purpose of our college. It is the endeavour of the college to train men and women with character who come in pursuit of knowledge.

Eligibility for Admission
A candidate who has passed the 2 years Pre-University examination conducted by the PU Board in the State of Karnataka or any other exam equivalent thereto accepted by Mangalore University is eligible for admission.


Admission
Admission to B.A. and B.Com. commences after the publication of PUC results and is open to young people of all caste, creed, religion or region, subject to the rules of the college. Admission to the college is a privilege and not a right. Application form for admission and prospectus are available on payment of Rs. 40/- and could be registered by paying Rs. 20/- at the office. Candidates from outside the state have to produce an eligibility certificate issued by the Mangalore University.

It was good for the student and have better placement for student college offer job. They provide job opportunities to the student and give some teaching skills to the student. They give some encouragement and idea knowledge to the student. They give some skills to empower and strong determination to the student.

In addition to the above Central and State Government scholarships, financial aid is offered to poor and deserving students through scholarships offered by the Management, Faculty and the Parent Teachers’ Association.

7. Dr. C T. Abraham and Mrs. Alice Abraham memorial endowment

This Endowment is instituted by Mrs.Lali A. Mathew in memory of her parents. The interest on fixed deposit of Rs.1,50,000 is used as merit cum means scholarship

8. PTA Scholarship

The Parent-Teachers Association instituted an endowment, the interest of which is used to help poor students.

9. Alumni Scholarship

The Alumni association sponsors few students to continue their studies.

To recognize the meritorious students there are 54 Endowment Awards and 39 President’s Merit Awards.

The best outgoing student is awarded MAMATHA BEST CROSSLANDER AWARD.

Computer lab
The college has 2 computer labs with more than 40 desktop systems . The labs are used by the students who study Secretarial Practice and the students who have enrolled for Certificate course in Basic Computers. The computers in the labs are connected with internet facility and printers. There is also an LCD projector in one of the labs.

In addition to the labs there is also an internet centre for the students to access online resources and apply for scholarships. The centre also provides photocopying facility.

Canteen
The College has a canteen in its premises. It serves simple snacks, tea and coffee. Canteen is manged by the college staff themselves. They take turns in managing the services of the canteen. The free breakfast scheme supported by the alumni is also provided to students through the college canteen.

Sports and Games
Students have access a out door game facilities such as Football, Basket ball, badminton, Volley ball and cricket. There is also a multi gym facility in the college premises. Students can also access the indoor games facility during the free hours.

Counselling Centre
There is an exclusive counselling cubicle to provide counselling and guidance support. A qualified counsellor provides this service to the students on all days. Students can just walk in and speak to the counsellor. It is very useful to students to take care of their emotional health and get guidance about their higher study options and careers.

Wall of Charity
Developing the spirit of giving and sharing in the students is important part of teaching social sensitivity among them. In this direction the college has opened a Wall of Charity room for the students and staff to place the used items that can be used by the needy students. It keeps dresses and apparels for the students to pick up.
