KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research, formerly known as KLE University, is a deemed to be university located in Belagavi. The university is popularly called KAHER and was established in 2006 under the sponsorship of the KLE Society, a charitable educational trust founded in 1916 by seven visionary teachers known as the Saptarshis.
