Admission Procedure
To be admitted to the B.V.Sc. & A.H. program at K.N.P. College of Veterinary Science, Satara, candidates must qualify the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG), as the National Testing Agency (NTA) uses the NEET-UG merit list to fill 15% of seats in recognized veterinary colleges under the All India Quota

B.V.SC & AH - 5.5 Years Course
Admission Process
Begins after NEET results are declared. Candidates must apply via the prescribed MAFSU prospectus/application form and submit necessary documents online.
Students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in both theory and practicals to be eligible for examinations.
Eligiblity
State Quota (85%): Candidates must appear for NEET‑UG, conducted by NTA. Admission is based on NEET merit through MAFSU counseling following the official reservation rules.

All‑India VCI Quota (15%): Requires qualification in the All India Common Entrance Exam conducted by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI). Notifications appear in major newspapers and the VCI website.
M.V.SC - 2 Years Course
Admission Process
Admission takes place between April and September.

Selection is strictly merit-based, determined by candidate eligibility and CGPA.

The M.V.Sc. program spans 2 years (4 semesters) and includes a research/thesis component.

Offered in 17 disciplines, each with different intake capacities ranging from 1 to 3 seats, e.g., Veterinary Surgery & Radiology has 3 seats, Veterinary Pathology has 1 seat.
