It is a private medical institute established in the year 2005. The institute was founded under the Konaseema Medical Trust with the objective of providing quality medical education and comprehensive healthcare services, especially to rural and semi urban communities of the Konaseema region.

Admission Procedure

Admission to Konaseema Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Amalapuram, for MBBS and PG (MD/MS) courses is through the NEET UG/PG exams, followed by counseling conducted by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) (now Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences), managing seats for private medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh, requiring valid scores for entry into this private institution affiliated with Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences.
