  The institute offers BE in 6 specializations and B.Tech. in 2 specializations. Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination with at least 50% aggregate marks and appear forTNEA counselling are eligible to apply for this course.

  TNEA is conducted by Anna University in various Engineering institutes in the state.

  Candidates have to register themselves for TNEA through its official website. They will be called for counseling based on the merit in qualifying examination of 10+2 and henceforth will be selected for admission.

Key points:

   Candidates must have Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects in 10+2.

  There is a relaxation of 5% and 10% in the aggregate marks in 10+2 for candidates belonging to OBC and MBC, DNC, SC/SCA/ST respectively.

   Candidates who have completed their education from Class 8th to 12th in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply and need not enclose the Nativity certificate at the time of admission

  Tamil Nadu natives who have completed education from Class 8th to 12th from outside Tamil Nadu have to show the nativity certificate.

   Children of Central Government Employees irrespective of their native state are eligible to apply provided their parents/guardians have been serving in Tamil Nadu for the past five years.

   Children of All India Service Tamil Nadu cadre officers can also apply.

   Children of employees in Public Sector or Government recognized Institutions can also apply irrespective of their domicile.

   KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore or KPRIET Coimbatore placements related activities are managed and controlled by the Career Development Centre which is a fully established training and placement cell of the KPRIET college. It provides career guidance and placement assistance to the graduating students by offering them skill development programmes prior to KPRIET placements drives such as communication skills, personality development, quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal reasoning, and more. According to the data provided by KPRIET Coimbatore, approximately 455 students were placed and Rs 54,00,000 lakhs per annum was the KPRIET highest salary package offered during the KPRIET placements drives 2023.

Hostel

  The Hostels in KPRIET play a very significant role in pursuing academic, cultural and recreational activities. While developing Hostel facilities without having any mind set, it will be our endeavor to follow the well-established ethos and a healthy community atmosphere in the Hostel

Transport

   KPRIET offers a safe and secure bus service that picks up and drops off all of our students at pre-determined times and locations. We have our own fleet of 20 buses that are built to government standards and driven by highly trained and experienced drivers. All of our buses are equipped with GPS systems, which allow us to follow their location.

Library

   Central Library acts as the main learning resource centre of the Institute. It has been providing up to date and nascent information resources and services both in hard and soft forms to the academic and administrative communities’ since 2009. Moreover, it has become an indispensable learning resource centre for students, researchers
