KVG College of Engineering established in 1986 is one of the most reputed Engineering Colleges sponsored by the Academy of Liberal Education (R) led by Founder & Chairman Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda & Active General Secretary K V Renuka Prasad.  The Engineering College popularly known as KVGCE was one of the first private sector and semi government sector initiatives in technical education in Dakshina Kannada based on one of the government aided initiatives.

 
KVG College of Engineering campus is spread over an area of 24.90 acres and is located in Junior College Road, Kurunjibhag, Sullia, Dakshina Kannada. It is one of the largest Mega Educational Complexes in India.KVGCE is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

 
KVG College of Engineering offers various UG and PG programs in the fields of Engineering and Management.  It offers BE and MTech degree courses in 6 disciplines each and also has the PG program MBA.  The admissions to UG programs are on the basis of merit in the Karnataka CET test/COMED-K scores.  Students are admitted to postgraduate courses on basis of their GATE test scores, as well as on their Post Graduate Karnataka CET scores.  Candidates with a valid GATE score get preference during the MBA admission process.

Admission Criteria

B.E Admission

• KVG College of Engineering offers 4 years full-time B.E. course in 6 specializations.
• Candidates who have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and any one of Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Electronics/ Computer Science as the optional subject from a recognized board are eligible for admission to B.E. course.
• Selection of the candidates is done on the basis of their score in KCET conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).

M.Tech and MBA Admission

• KVGCE offers 2 years full-time M.Tech course in 6 specializations and 2-year full-time MBA course to the aspirants.
