It is a public medical college established in 2006 and renamed in 2013 in memory of Late Baliram Kashyap. Admission Procedure

Admission to Late Baliram Kashyap Memorial Government Medical College is through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) based on merit in the NEET exam. Candidates must have cleared the NEET exam and 12th grade with science subjects (physics, chemistry, and biology).

• Once NEET-UG results are out, counselling is conducted:

  • All India Quota (15%) seats: counselling via the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). 

  • State Quota (~85%) seats: counselling via the Directorate of Medical Education, Chhattisgarh (DME, Chhattisgarh) for state-quota candidates.
