ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Selection of a student at LIET will be finalized after a series of evaluative steps.

Submissive with the LIET admissions team, provided the student meets the eligibility criteria.

Merit-based assessment of candidates, focusing on attitude and aptitude, to help them benefit from the unique learning experience at LIET .

WHAT IS THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION?

B.TECH (I YEAR)

Senior Secondary or (10+2) with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Computer Science with minimum 45% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates) & JEE Mains will be added advantage.

B.TECH (II YEAR LEEP)

Diploma in Engineering from any approved institute, with minimum 45% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates) or B.Sc. (with Mathematics) with 45% marks, (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates) only from Universities in Rajasthan are eligible for direct admission to B.Tech second year.

M.TECH

B.E./B.Tech with min. 55% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates). Candidates having M.Sc. or M.C.A are eligible to certain M.Tech programmes decided by BTU with a valid and qualified GATE score card & 55% marks in M.Sc. or M.C.A

WHAT IS THE ADMISSION PROCEDURE?

B.TECH

Admission is based on 10+2/ JEE merit and will be decided by the centralized Admission Committee of Govt. of Rajasthan and the institute. The selected students shall report to the Admission Committee at the institute for filling the college form and depositing the fees by the scheduled date.

M.TECH

Admission is based on B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc./M.C.A percentage and will be decided by CAM process of the centralized admission committee of BTU and the institute.

Laxmi Devi Institute of Engineering and Technology Alwar has a separate placement cell that assists students to get jobs in top and reputed companies. Placement cells will also help the students to get a job in their interested field with good salary packages. Many companies will visit Laxmi Devi Institute of Engineering and Technology Alwar for selecting qualified candidates for the available positions based on their requirements. Additionally, students will get training on both hard and soft skills. The training will help the students to learn about mock tests, group discussions, mock interviews, operational rounds, and also technical skills. These skills will help the candidates to get a job in their desired company and role.

LIET Placement Procedure

Many companies are invited to the LIET placement drive by the Training and Placement Cell via email.

Ø  The LIET placement brochure is included in the email.

Ø  Through email, interested companies will confirm their involvement in the placement drive.

Ø  The dates for the placement drive and interviews are jointly agreed upon by the institute and companies.

Ø  Students should start the LIET application process and complete the requirements to register for the placement drive.

Ø  The LIET campus is visited by a number of businesses and organisations to conduct interviews.

Ø  Group discussions, personal interviews, aptitude tests, operational rounds and written exams are all possible types of interviews.

The selected candidates will receive the offer letter and salary package on the same day.
